zantac twice a day

You can take Zantac all day, I have a prescription from my OB taking the max strength twice daily. Nothing to worry about.

I take the Walmart brand of Zantac sometimes twice a day. I took it for the last 3 to 4 months Of my first pregnancy and it never went away and so when I got pregnant again I took it and get bad and the Dr said 2 a day was safe and so here I am baby 3 and taking it and all my babies are fine :-D take a Zantac don't struggle.

I have had heartburn forever and I tried the prescription meds, but I feel the Zantac works the best. But 75 is not enough, make sure you take 150 mg. twice a day. Also, you can supplement it with Mylanta or Maalox liquid if it's really bad. I'm not saying this will be a miracle cure, but it's worth a try. Unless you tried Zantac already, I don't know. Let me know.

Definitely zantac twice a day. Take it every day. I had heartburn my entire 2nd trimester and tried everything before dr finally said zantac.

Dr told me to take Zantac 150. Twice a day. Works wonders.

I take 40 mg of prilosec a day and it works amazing

my 11 yr old son has been feeling sick and bein sick after meals for the last two weeks,my doctor put him on zantac twice a day for a week.the zantac is not doing any good, few days ago my doctor sent him for blood tests which came back to day clear.i m still giving him the zantac half hour befor breakfast and tea i dont know what to do next.

I take Zantac 150 once a day as prescribed by my Dr. I've had terrible acid reflux and it seems to be helpful. It's safe ..my neighbor gives her 4 month old baby zantac for silent reflux as prescribed by her pediatrician.

I was prescribed zantac 150 mg 2x a day n just had a healthy baby boy Nov 8 so i agree with the other ladies perfectly safe and a life saver!!

Call your doctor. He knows your body and what would be best for you to take He'll probably just call in a prescription and you'll get it that day. I know I have the same problem since taking the meds it hurts.

I take it every morning and sometimes twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening just don't take more than 2 in 24 hours I am 38 weeks pregnant

I take Zantac 150mg twice a day, and tums as needed in btwn. Seems to do the job!

Also eat small frequent meals at least 3 Hours before bedtime and if you do the Zantac 150 take it twice a day in am and pm. Also I have to sleep propped up on 3 - 4 pillows. I'm 34 weeks.

I've been on zantac 150mg twice a day since around 11 weeks, and over the last 36 hours it's not working as well...what else can I do? I'm not going to take any other medication on top of the zantac. I'm trying drinking milk, and it's not really helping much...

Calcium supplements! Not Tums. Bicarbonates can be harmful to baby. Incline sleeping, water, less sodium, and milk will help.

I was taking zantac 150 2x a day and prilosec otc 1x a day along with tums. Finally at 16 weeks my ob gave me the prescription prilosec and heartburn is so much better.

for heartburn you can try drinking milk, or medication wise tums and zantac 75mg or 150 up to twice a day is ok to take during pregnancy, personally zantac is what has worked best for me

With that said, my doctor said if I can manage on the Zantac either once or twice a day to do that, since Zantac has less side effects. Chewing gum during the day helps me a lot too. No stress, but a year ago when this started my whole family did get a cold, and this is when I thought it was asthma, but it wasn't. I had a GI scope about 3 months before this and was on the Protonix but was off by the time I had this first episode of chest issues.
