Avatar f tn t forget to drink lots of water!! For exercise, do an hour long workout video on YouTube 4 days a week. I lost 10 pounds in 4 days on a missions trip, all I drank was tea, water and ate small portions at lunch and dinner.
Avatar f tn ve been getting these weird stomach cramps that lasted a few days. All day yesterday, my stomach felt fine until I jogged a mile at lunch. About an hour later, my stomach feels tight right under my navel and there is this consistent dull ache. I slept fine last night but it has been there all day today. Can this come from working out?
Avatar f tn 30 minutes to one hour after my second shake, I workout and drink one liter of water during workout. 8: Right after my workout I drink a 50g protein shake and 15 minutes after that I have 100–150g of carbs via dextrose powder (I eat Twinkies, cookies, donuts,...) 9: One hour after my workout I will have my big solid meal, (whatever I want as long as it has a good amount of protein).
Avatar f tn Eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. Breakfast is very important! Snack between breakfast and lunch and between lunch and dinner. Stay focused, you deserve a healthy strong body!

What are the symtoms for drinking too much water? I go too the bathroom about 7 times a day since I started drinking a gallon a day. I just read about water intoxication and am freaking out what are the symtoms?
Avatar f tn I Also Have A Full Time Job And 3 Kids. I WalK For A 1/2 Hour Of My Lunch Hour And Have A Salad For Lunch With A Piece Of Fruit And Water With A Slice Of Lemon Or Orange. After The Kids Are Bathed And In Bed I Do A Little Strength Training And A Few Sit Ups. Hope This Helps.
Avatar f tn I've heard a few different opinions on what time of day is best to workout but honestly, the best time to workout is whenever you have time to fit it into your schedule! Personally I workout at all different times. Sometimes I have time to kill in the morning and have enough energy to get in at least a half hour of some kind of cardio (it's rare though because I am not a morning person AT ALL either lol) Other times I do it late at night.
Avatar m tn After working out on my elliptical for a half an hour, I have noticed that my forehead is bright red on the right side and pale looking on the left side. It seems to go away after about a half hour to an hour. I seem to get my wind back shortly after my workout and don't feel dizzy at all. I am getting my heart rate up to about 170 by the end of the workout.
Avatar f tn They were aware of what was going on with me, so my BP was taken and I was watched carefully...but I was put thru my regular workout..and yes, the palpitations happened just about the entire workout..but I had NO other symptoms with them-and they were watching me closely. So..I had a great workout...the palps continued at home...they said since I had been not eating or drinking because of being sick on Sunday/Monday, they said my potassium could be low...

Trying to get my bachelor's degree. I am just worried that my workouts will slow down and my eating habits will get worse. Any suggestions? I am looking to all of you to give me a kick in the butt if I start to slack off. LOL.

331415 tn?1311459301 Even was able to write a specification today. I went and put in a tough workout at lunch and that helped BIG TIME. There is no way around it - I've always been this way - even when i didn't use...I need to exercise for my mental health. I'm happier, more productive and generally much when I workout on a regular basis.

Avatar f tn I eat breakfast at around 7 in the morning (usually 2 eggs with a cup of green veggies and maybe some fruit or oatmeal with some protein powder), I have a mid-morning stack around 10 (nuts or carrots with almond butter, an apple), lunch between 12 and 1 (at least 4 ounces protein, a salad with olive oil and vinegar and about a cup of veggies) an after workout snack (hardboiled egg with veggies, chicken breast or whatever I feel like) and then a dinner similar to my lunch between 6 and 8 pm.
Avatar f tn I have been doing abs workout early in the morning (just for 5-8mins) cause I have to go to work and prepare my lunch box right after workout done. Now I am wondering if I should do my evening workout eg. Cardio-12mins, exercise using elliptical machine-20mins or butt workouts-5mins-8mins. I admit I feel so lazy and just tired after work and I always ended in the kitchen for dinner around 5.45-6pm. And I will go to bed by 10pm as I have to wake up at 4.30-5am.

The question I have is I am taking Bystolic Imdur ER and Lisiniprol which I know the Bystolic keeps the heart rate way down...at what rate should I use for heart rate for training .. My max would normally 158 but I am not sure what changes on meds.......

Avatar n tn Could you please tell me if ,based on my results posted in the below question, I could work out if I'm a HBV carrier? I've heard that it'd not be indicated to work out if you got Hept B because the liver needs to do extra work if your body is subject to physical effort. And, since the HBV attacks the liver it'd be recommended to let the liver rest as much as possible. What do you think? Thanks.
193609 tn?1292180293 lol....ugh, wish I would have read this post a few minutes ago...lol I ate the whole bagel :-( Today is my first day working out and stuff, so I am not expecting perfection immediatly, so I will just stick with half a bagel tomorrow. It is 10, and so far I have had a bagel, a yogurt, and a handful of almonds. I went to the gym and worked out for an hour, can't believe how out of shape I am! 20 minutes on the elliptical about killed me!
