You can look up zumba and dance workout videos online and do it in the privacy of your own home if you are uncomfortable dancing in a class situation. This is what I do. Also try to stay away from fried foods, candy, and chips.

She has a KILLER one for butt & leg muscles (I've been doing the workout twice a week for 3months & WOW, my cell & fat seemed to vanish...well not ALL of it but most) I hope this helps you & wish you the best. I haven't had very much motivation every diet I have ever done. My husband had told me not to buy anymore diet things. My sister got surgery and let me borrow the workout videos. My husband has now agreed for me to buy it.

Avatar m tn Hi- I had my first resurfacing in Jan 2002 at age 39 / second in Dec 2006. I was almost unable to walk before the first surgery. It is a wonderful procedure and, touch wood, I've been able to lead as active a life as before. I workout 4-5 times a week, cycle & ski. The only thing I don't do is run or high impact aerobics. Good luck with your surgery!

Avatar f tn Lots of walking and a lot of yoga! There's videos for exercises for first trimester, 2nd trimester, and 3rd. You could also check with your doctor to see what works best for you and just a heads up if you start doing this early in your pregnancy it shouldn't be hard as you get bigger! Good luck!

Avatar f tn Try p90x ... I lost 10lbs in 2 weeks ! It's pretty pricey but there are pirated videos on the Internet for free . Make sure you follow the schedule though. Also eating healthy has a lot to do with weight loss !

Avatar f tn Hi!!! I have a similar problem except I live out in the country and it's freezing. I suggest doing Gilad's total body workout or some workout videos. Running in place is also good. Sit ups in your room. And dieting too! Not a very strict diet but a healthy one with alot of protein and heck treat yourself sometime. And don't get discouraged if you don't lose weight fast. It is a very slow process. I Hope you take my advice. GOOD LUCK!

Avatar f tn I do exercise 1 hour a day 6 days a week I do home exercise I download hip hop abs video its help me alot. my diet so strict no meat at all I eat more open fish vegetables fruits and chicken. I take vitamin as well. I loose 30 pounds from 155 to 125. it is important also to maintain your weight when you have bec we are easy become obese. proper diet discipline is the key.
Avatar f tn I lost most of my baby weight by the time he was about 6 months old (gained 40lbs almost) just by taking 20-30minute walks with my baby daily (nothing too long), and doing workout videos on demand on my comcast cable (usually also 30 minutes).... they have everything yoga, cardio, dance, weight training. You just go to the sports and fitness sections and they have tons of free workout videos. Usually, I time this around his 10am bottle.

Ik that^^^ specific workout is TOO INTENSE to be considered "safe" durring a pregnancy, and in no way would I want to harm the baby or put it at risk. However I would like to stay as healthy as I can. & I know exercising can help make the birthing process go easier. So my question(s) to you is/are: How much is safe?

Avatar f tn Can someone tell me if a lumbar strain can cause hip and leg pain that is so excruciating that it makes a person pass out? That pain is only when standing or walking. Sitting or reclining with legs extended is still painful but tolerable. There is also severe pain on straight leg raises.
