Avatar f tn I have had excellent luck with the Resmed Mirage Quattro mask. It has a knob at the top of the mask that adjusts the pressure against the forehead and nose. I wake-up without redness or cuts on the nose. It is a full face mask which is a concern if you're using the nasal CPAP. I was getting redness and cuts when I first started using CPAP but it turns out that my mask was too small. Once I went to a large Mirage Quattro, the bleeding stopped.

Avatar f tn So right now I'm seeing this weird blur that kind of looks like a heat mirage thing. Its mainly my right eye and its kind of feels dark if that can be described as a feeling. Its the second time I have seen this. Last month my thyroid medication was increased from 5 to 25 and just yesterday it was decreased to 12.5 because I was having symptoms showing it was too much. My eye is also starting to feel and see a bit better after about 10 minutes.

Avatar f tn I really recommend pregnancy yoga in your 2nd and 3rd trimester, before that aqua aerobics, swimming, normal yoga and Pilates, gym workout, light jog, stationary bike and cross trainer, anything really as long as you are feeling well and comfortable doing it.

410281 tn?1254229064 Glad you got answers! Yes, I think it can be all three! The main thing is the apnea- now you can get the help you need to sleep better at night!! Remember the Resmed Mirage Liberty mask - it's terrific! (if you have the right face shape for it). During my sleep study, I think one leg moved once - that's it!! I am immobile at night - often waking up in the same position I went to sleep in - because I'm just too tired to even move!!! Just don't have the energy!!
1463531 tn?1289509383 It feels as though this is an uphill battle from the start for me, because of my addictive lifestyle that I've entertained in the past few years I have brought myself down to new lows never thought attainable before pills, so right now the only place I can obviously go is up even though now that I have my security blanket of being high, being in my own little world that is not a part of reality....taken away it doesn't feel like I'm moving up in the world.

1580703 tn?1651904887 Hi this may sound a bit harsh but try taping it to you , if not try another type of mask , nasal mask may help , the hospital just changed mine they dont make them now , they put me on a Mirage FX and i would recommend it to anyone its so light good seal ect Please Take care.......
Avatar n tn Are you losing weight at all? The best way to keep weight off is to lose a bit at a time so it stays off, and you don't say if you're getting anywhere or getting nowhere. I would ask, if this exercise is new to you, meaning you weren't doing this before, do you notice anything positive happening in the shape of your body?

Back when I was 14-17 I would join my father in the gym, but his trainer gave me different things to do to just be fit and toned. I do have some equipment at my house and my husband works crazy hours so we can't just go to a gym. Plus, I would like to look semi-decent to be able to even show up at a gym. Avatar n tn You are probably not going to lose weight at first. You're replacing fat with muscle. It takes some time for the weight loss to occur, but it is mostly the result of changing your diet. Change to low carb, high fat and protien diet. Get rid of sugar and gluten.
Avatar f tn Im 38 weeks pregnant and still workout!!:) I do 3-4 mile walks, 40-60 squats and some type of 20 minute cardio prenatal workouts (power walks or dance)..just check with your doctor to make sure you are ok with doing it still..but keep up working out!! Its helps with labor and delivery!! Good luck mommies!!

I hate the spotting but have learned to see it as normal. Is it normal? I'm 22. I would say I'm in good health. I used to jog 4 miles daily. 2 or 4 miles I spot anyway. Does this happen to anyone else?
