Then just do leg exercises (e.g. squats, lunges) often.

I am trying to lose weight safely now, but the problem is that once I get the urge to eat bad things, I run to the grocery store as fast as I can, buy the stuff and wolf it down, leading to guilt and disgust of myself. My feet seem to be the first to lose weight....... yep, when the rest of my body gains weight, my feet, too, get fat...... the next place I often lose, is my boobs, then belly. Thighs and butt are always last to slim down, for me. As discussed on your other thread, try the zumba and yoga.

Avatar n tn If you stop eating white foods like bread and pasta you should lose weight. However, don't deprive yourself... eat whole wheat bread and pasta, brown rice instead of white occasionally. Weight trainers do advise you to have a "cheat" meal at least once a week so you don't feel deprived. Eating mostly meat and vegetables should help. Good health to you. Hope it helps you. Avatar m tn ve heard this, but the more you can build up the more calories your body will burn during rest. If you really want to lose the fat quickly on top of building the muscle, cut out or reduce foods that cause your body to implement insulin (the hormone that transports glucose to your cells). You don't have to go on an Adkins diet, just eat more green veggies and lean proteins (meats that end in -loin, chicken breast, fish 2-3 times a week).

Avatar f tn I'm no doctor, just a man who has read way too many articles on fitness and tested a few out. What I've found the best way to lose weight is to find your maintenance level (you can find a rough calculator online) that will tell you about how many calories you burn in an avg day. Subtract around 250 calories and you've found your ideal calorie amount! Keep in mind you should take exercise into account as well. You should be shooting around -2 lbs a week.

Avatar f tn I plan to use one this time. I was super annoyed that the top of my stomach didn't go back to pre-pregnancy size and I looked more round up top and it didn't go away. Hoping it will help this time around to get my organs back into place. It's also supposed to help with getting your spine back into place and supporting abdominal muscles. It can also work like support stockings and help you lose the water weight faster. All pros in my book!

I didn't do anything to lose the weight at first but once I decided to put in the effort I was able to lose the weight quickly and healthily while breast feeding. Work out when you can, and I used the my fitness pal app. You need to tweak it some because of breastfeeding you shouldn't go under 1600 calories a day, but it can track your calories and if you follow it diligently you will lose the weight. Hard boiled eggs were my go to.

One note: You will see 30 minutes of daily exercise being recommended. Do 20 minutes of light resistance training first. For the first 20 minutes you’re burning of glycogen [stored glucose mainly in the liver and muscles]. Once you break the 20 minute plateau your body begins to burn fat.
Avatar n tn How old are you? It doesn't sound like you need to lose a lot of weight. I would make the same suggestions for you as for 963003... Be sure to add exercise to build strong muscles, as well.
