If he's losing a lot of weight the make some good shakes for weight gain with more calories. My last treatment I was drinking ensure because I couldnt stand food anymore. Good luck.

Avatar n tn There is absolutely no specific type of food that will speed things up. Trust me i've tried it all from green tea to hot pepper,it just doesnt work. All you get out of it is unsatisfied tastebuds followed by cravings and hunger pangs and probably binging.

I need to lose 50lbs still but overall have lost 10. What is working for me is keeping a food diary and tracking my calorie intake on here. My calorie limit is 1200 a day or 1300 max. With that, I walk if in outside just around my house.

So if you want to lose a pound of weight your going to need to cut back a total of 3500 calories in three or four days and you will likely lose about 1 lb. I hope this makes sense to you. You dont have to eat much of some foods to keep from losing weight. You can purchase the calorie counter book in a paper back at most any book store... Id also suggest that you try eating 1,500to 1,600 calories daily. Most males usually use or burn about 2400 calories daily.
Avatar f tn Up until my previous appointment at 21 weeks I was still losing weight. When I went in for my check up at 21 weeks I had only gained 4 pounds throughout my entire pregnancy. Today I am 25 weeks and went in for a check up and was told that I lost a pound so I'm still losing weight again instead of gaining. Is this something I should be concerned about? It's best to concentrate on whole grains, lean protein, low/no fat dairy; LOTS of veggies and some fruits. Not everyone can sustain a 1500 calorie/day diet; you may need more or less, depending on your current weight and activity level. The types of calories you eat will have an impact as well.

Which is only because I tried so terribly hard to gain weight after being underweight for years. I mean I was 87 lbs before I gained all the weight. Then I got pregnant. When I first weighed myself when I found out I was pregnant, I was about 145. Then when I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago I was 140, now I'm 137. Anyone else going through weird things like this? I have no nausea and eat whenever I am hungry. The biggest difference from pre-pregnancy is that I am actually trying to eat healthy. Avatar f tn If you completely deprive yourself of some sweets or salty foods and stick only with super healthy food to me there is a high chance that you might go out and binge again on those foods. So, let yourself enjoy some salty or sweet foods here and there but not a lot. Stick with it. This isn't something that is going to go away over night. Take care!
