The key is to lose small amounts of weight so the body can adjust and keep it off. 10kg weight loss can most likely be done, but it would involve alot of deprivation which wouldnt be sustainable for long term weight management. so what would happen? youd get the 10kgs off and then your body would want to go back to where it was. so you'd gain the weight back... and often put on more than you were initially.

So far im on the fifth day and Ive lost 5lbs but I also cheated. Maybe you have more will power than me. Honestly it works. However you need to enjoy soup. after the third day its usually easier to not eat than to eat more soup.

Cheesecake and cream cheese or probably bacon will still make you ssssiiiiiick. Have a variety of healthy foods on hand so you can nibble without fuss. I remember having trouble putting weight on after surgery after getting down to 108 lb before surgery from being so sick for so long.

I changed what I did eat, and lost 50 pounds and have kept it off for 2 years while still on Lexapro. It may not be the amount you're eating but the foods you're eating. I went to healthier foods. You're on a low dose, so I doubt that it's the Lexapro.

I am medication free right now, except a small dose of Celexa. I have just had the flu/bronchitus for 10 days and it is brutal. I need to get strong to fight off these things....please, any help would be appreciated. I have beat cancer once.....I don't want to even give it one more chance anywhere in my body.

I'm not opposed to fish but lots of food prep is not my style. I wonder if the Mediterranean diet could be followed by a lazy person? What do you think? Did you find exercise needed to be part of this or does that not have any impact on glucose levels?
Avatar f tn Excercise in moderation! Walk, swim, do yoga. That will help and continue to eat good foods for you. Make sure you're eating enough calories though as well. Because if you're not eating enough you will also gain weight because of the lack of calories.

Your baby is sucking so much out of you that even if you tried to get everything you need from your food you may not truly get enough of everything you need. I would strongly recommend taking your vitamins not only for your baby bit for your own health to. I think it's more respectable to do what's best for the two of you . Vitamins are great for you.

Avatar f tn hi. i am current in p2 of the diet protocol. for the first 2 days you will take the drops as well as eat as much as you can. that is phase 1. after taht you begin phase 2, where you drop to the 500 calorie diet. you should do this for 21-40 days depending on your weight loss needs. then you will enter phase 3. this is the maintenance phase and it is very important. you will consume 1500 caloris a day but still avoid sugars and starches.

Avatar f tn / Though I think the first thing to do is lose any water weight you have by drinking a lot of water regularly (I've got an app on my phone which tells me how much water I should be drinking each day and that helps motivate me) also record what you eat and it's nutritional values (I also have an app for this) and don't skip breakfast! Then just do leg exercises (e.g. squats, lunges) often.
