Avatar n tn re only supposed to gain about 2-3 pounds the first trimester anyway. You do however need to try to eat what you can. Eat small snacks throughout the day. Either salty or fried foods were the only thing I could eat for both of my pregnancy. Also cold carbonated beverages helped. Whatever you can do to get some calories at least, but no need to worry about the weight gain you'll gain all kinds of weight soon enough.
Avatar f tn I'm a diabetic, GERD (silent reflux) and heart patient. It's not an easy combination, and I understand your situation very well. Low stomach acid is a rare but real condition. Given your risk factors, I'd try the baking soda test, but I'd depend on a lab test to determine the acidity level of your esophagus. If you have insurance, I'd also ask for the acid test and also ask for a motility test to determine how well you can swallow foods.
118074 tn?1228329003 Don't beat yourself up. 26 lbs is a good weight gain...you should be gaining one pound per week now and that will give you a total weight gain of approx 36 lbs. It may even be less cause some people don't gain after a certain point.... I am 35 weeks and have gained 30 lbs. I certainly do not deprive myself of anything. I try to eat properly. Veggies and all that good stuff, but I also love my potatoes, chips, sweets! Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!
Avatar f tn Can u eat deli meats from the store In the deli if you pregnant just curious?
Avatar f tn Eat like u normally eat....if ur having a csection they'll just tell u not to eat 8-12hrs prior to the csection and depending how ur body reacts will give u either a liquid diet or solid/regular diet....my suggestion try not to eat anything that can possibly constipate u.....
Avatar f tn Do you have specific diet that you're starting? Simply cutting out processed foods like junk foods, sodas and other simple carbs will go a long way toward helping you reach your goals. Center your meals around protein - meat, chicken, fish, eggs and veggies, as well as whole grains - and keep your portions in check and you will lose weight. You should eat something light before you sleep, especially, if you're going to bed for the night.
Avatar f tn Just try to eat healthier foods. And try not to fry a lot of your foods, try baking! And if you put your mind to it i'm sure you could achieve your goal! Good luck!
Avatar n tn I agree with ☝ eat lots of salt food I ate McDonald's
Avatar f tn Ask for Phenergan. Not really much you can do except keep drinking and eating. Try everything. I have had it my entire pregnancy and have found three foods I can eat... if I eat anything else I'll get extremely sick. It took me about 20 weeks to figure out what I can eat. Try switching prenatals too. That's really all I got. I'm 29 weeks and still dealing with it and trying new things.
Avatar f tn Hello, One of the possible causes for bloody diarrhea is Crohn’s disease. Chron’s disease is a form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). You should eat a well-balanced, healthy diet and avoid foods that worsen diarrhea and gas symptoms. Eat small amounts of foods and not heavy three meals a day.

Tbd Are you vegetarian for any personal reason? Would you consider including other protein sources such as those from whey protein, or eggs? Maybe you could also look into a protein supplement to include with your regular meal, in a shake for example. Fruits are high in sugar. I would be looking into eating a low carb and/or ketogenic diet. It is possible to do this even if you are vegetarian, but will need quite a lot of work on food preparations and research.
1574015 tn?1317661220 I would cut back on the ibuprofin and talk to your doctor. Ibuprofin should be taken with food and it sounds like that is difficult for you now. It seems like your study doctors would be paying attention to the side effects. Are they no help? http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Hepatitis-C/help-for-nausea-/show/1378592 Hope you find some help soon.

Avatar m tn He mentioned that I had liver disease, and I was kinda surprised as I had never been told that by docs or anyone else. ( found out I had hep c and early cirrhosis last year) He said you must eat 1 stem of raw broccoli everyday and your liver disease will completely go away. Kinda laughed and forgot about it. Fast forward....."You have Hep C". I make sure to everyday eat my broccoli. I'm a believer. Tnx for info. ...
