Avatar f tn On day 10 thats good, what were you taking different drugs have different side effects. The Wds. from a drug can be pure hell. So just hang in there it will get better you might need to see your Doctor and tell him or her whats going on.
Avatar f tn The WIC nutritionist should have given you tips. Continue taking your prenatal vitamins (the gummies don't have iron). When you eat iron rich foods (meats, Nuts, beans) pair it with something high in Vitamin C (oranges, kiwi, strawberry, mango, Papya, cabbage broccoli, peppers....ect). It'll help increase the absorption of iron. You can also take your prenatal with orange juice. Don't drink too much milk because it can decrease the iron (they use the same pathways to be absorbed).
Avatar f tn ll eat tiny bites of other foods just to get the vitamins and nutrients since my doctor said no more prenatals. I would go to the hospital twice a week to get fluids. So suck on ice. Drink gatorade. And drink water... I know it's really hard..

All women who are sexually active should be taking at least 400mg of folic acid a day. Most don't get enough just from the food they eat. It is especially important to take the prenatals if you don't eat a balanced diet or if you were vomiting a lot in the early days.

For example, chicken with beans and a fresh orange; drink orange juice with the iron supplement; or have mashed potatoes with meat at a meal. You are within normal range and suggest getting your Iron from food sources.

Avatar n tn i do not have a bag, they were able to attach my small colon to my bowels. i was told that my vitamin absorption and the absorption of foods gets divided by half. is this true? should i double up on the vitamins i take? is there anything eles i should do with my large colon missing? and is there a way to lessen the frequency of bowel movements? it seems as soon as i eat something im going to the bathroom. i average 3 or 4 time a day.

What other vitamins/supplements work best with you all that take Lithium? What about Echinacea, Chromium Polynicotinate, Selenium, Calcium (which one), Taurine, and Potassium Gluconate? Avatar f tn Its great if u can get them but until then another thing u can do is make sure u are eating the foods.. Fruits etc that contain the things u would find in the vitamins. A lot of things like breads and cereals will be fortified with things like folic acid...

THEY USED A DOPPLER TO CHECK HEARTBEAT AND IT WAS 149. DR SAID WAS GREAT. I'M WONDERING HOW DO I KNOW IF MY BABY IS GROWING AND ADVANCING LIKE IT SHOULD. MY NEXT ULTRASOUND IS AT 20WKS. THAT'S 8WKS AWAY. I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN GO THAT LONG WONDERING IF MY BABY IS HEALTHY AND ON TRACK.

My kids are amazing and love me on my worst day as does my perfect Mom!!! I am so blessed and lucky in so manuy ways and ready to be done with this burden I am carrying around!!! I look at some of these posts that are so encouraging and hope I will be so inspiring when I am over this hill!!!
