(I know skin doesn't always tighten back up but I can tell my stomach is trying to tighten and lift) but. also , I want to build a little muscle and try to tighten up some in my arms. Should I use 2, 3, or 5 pound weights.
616227 tn?1251076398 I did get my Wii Fit workout done after work for almost 45 min, plus the 2+ miles I logged at work and then did more walking after I worked out. So, overall, I didn't do too bad for the day. Hopefully, can do better tomorrow. Everyone have a good evening.
Avatar f tn Have you tried poi spinning? Sock poi are pretty inexpensive (you can even make them yourself) and just standing and practicing spins will get your heart rate going in a short amount of time, and there are ton of moves you can do with them so boredom isn't much of an issue.

I was thinking that this summer while we are camping/vacationing I could get some kind of similar band to take along. Anyways, the point of this comment is that they do all sorts of arm exercises with it - bicep curls, lateral bicep curls, etc. If you could get a band of some sort like that it would be easy enough to do without the system as well.
266539 tn?1281402152 There are a million exercises you can do with bands just make sure the resistance of the band is right for you. There are many exercises you can do wit a ball etc. The choices are endless.
Avatar f tn They are mostly cardio if you work at low resistance and move quickly; they are mostly resistance training if you put the resistance up very high in which case you will have to go much more slowly. In other words, these machines are not comparable -- they focus on very different exercises both of which are quite good but the intensity of which depends on how long you do it for and how much resistance you use. And don't forget to consider which exercise seems fun to you.

A cup of organic coffee makes a good morning pre-workout fuel, especially if you're working out on an empty stomach. Just don't use caffeine as a crutch for poor sleep. Intense exercise burns more sugar during exercise, and more fat and calories. Rigorous exercise require more post-workout recovery. You want to eat correctly.

Stand with your hands on your hips and feet hip-width apart. Bend your knees 45 degrees. Keep your knees directly over your ankles. Step out with your right foot. Pause. Step in with your left foot, returning your feet to hip-width. Continue for 20 steps. Repeat on the other side, leading with your left foot.

I'd just skip the supplements and work out. If you're workout is heavy on resistance training, then protein is what you need. If it's heavy on cardio, then you might try energizing foods such as spirulina or bee pollen.

But rarely use fins. Oh. Use socks w fins to prevent blisters. You'll see results within a month. To float just put your head back into water up to your face. Best of luck.

I gained the three pounds back after I increased my days at the gym. After 4 months of exercising and dieting I have lost zero weight. I took myself down to a 1200 calorie diet. Still no change. In the last 2 months I have begun to work out 5-6 times a week, I resumed a 1400 calorie diet.

What a miracle it did. I forget I'm pregnant at times. My son sits really low so this helps a lot. I plan on working until two weeks prior to giving birth. Hope this helps.

All results were normal except CPK which was at 660. They told me to stop working out for a few weeks and to repeat. I went back tot the DR 5/23 because I was extremely worn out for two days, sever sweating at night, nausea, earache, sore throat, plus had a low grade fever.
Avatar f tn I know you can continue to work out but I would ask the Dr which workouts are ok just to be safe. Maybe it's because I'm almost 36wks but I couldn't picture myself jumping rope lol. But I'm pretty sure keeping up with a workout routine will help you have an easier delivery.

Some people choose a simple protein bar, but be careful of excessive sugars and fats. Quest bars are usually the best choice since many can pack either a ton of sugar or worse, fake sugars.
