losing weight while drinking alcohol

I stopped drinking alcohol for 17 days now and I am losing weight. I lOst about 3 kilos in this period. I also had some stress but my experianse with stress did not show weight lose I. The past. Can that be a reason of this weight lose? Or is this something I need to go to the doctor for?

I have taken Phentermine several times in the past and I was told by my DR. to AVOID drinking alcohol while taking phentermine. Phentermine is a stimulant that is similar to an amphetamine. It is an appetite suppressant that affects the central nervous system. It worked great for me loosing weight. But, I do have 2 friends that mixed alcohol and phentermine and it was NOT a pretty site. It can increase some of the side effects of phentermine.

Definitely check with your doctor and have him/her run some tests. It could be something completely unrelated to drinking and alcohol is just exacerbating it.

i have been told by my family that my behavior is bizzare and erratic. i do not have any memory of my behavior while drinking. could mixing the paxil and alchocol be the reason?

So the concern is that Zoloft will increase the effects of alcohol -- whether this is increasing depression symptoms or affecting motor skills. So I would say NO. Thats just me. Hi again,my wife has been losing a lot of weight,we aren't together anymore but I would like to be,anyway she is pregnant and she has been drinking alcohol a lot as well.In my previous post I was saying she is taking Adderall 60 total milagrams a day and wanted to add that she is bruising a lot.We are friends and have talked about being together again.She actually stayed the night with me last night and we made love for the first time since October the 8th.

I have fas! Don't drink while pregnant. It's a miserable thing to live with for child and family. Trust me. I wish my mom didn't do it. She ended up losing two children to the state. Idk her I don't remember her and I can't contact her. Trust me....

I personally believe its not right to consume alcohol while pregnant, so I guess my ice cold beer will taste all that much better when I finally get to have one.. Hang in there ladies, we will all make it!

I stopped drinking alcohol about 9-10 years ago. No special reason for that. I still went out with my friends and had fun, just that I was drinking non alcoholic drinks. You can have apple juice with soda, or long drinks without the alcohol and still have a good time.

alcohol is obviously bad for the development of your child but there are also a lot of babies that have been introduced to alcohol throughout the while time mother was pregnant and been fine.

Due to a genetic condition, I can not drink anymore. However, I understand what you are talking about. When I have a severe panic attack, I feel a "prickly heat" all over. While I understand and in no way judge drinking alcohol in general, it may be something you can't do until you have the anxiety under control. One gets impaired from drinking (and I am not saying drunk, even just buzzed) and those with anxiety can have issues with the feeling of losing control.

I have recently lost a lot of weight and I have struggled with my weight for a long time but there is no quick fix, you need to follow a plan of healthy eating and exercise and I know that is not what you want to hear but losing weight is a life choice and you will need to think about what you eat for the rest of your life as your body has got to be with you for the rest of your life.
