Avatar f tn ve heard a lot that breast feeding really helps and I recommend you drink green tea (I like the Arizona) before I got pregnant I used to drink it all the time and lost a lot of weight from drinking that cuz it helps speed up your metabolism so it burns fat quicker. Just a suggestion.
Avatar m tn I have been doing this off and on most of the year, as well as, I have been drinking 3 glasses of green tea a day too. I have not been consistent but I have done it most of the year. For about 2 weeks starting a month ago I also took cinnamon tablets and for a week I took holy basil tablets. About 6 weeks ago I noticed my pants felt loose and a friend told me I looked thinner. I cut out the whole health thing and for the past few weeks I'm trying to eat anything to put weight back on.

Your body is super hungry after a whole night fast...n then when you give it tea (anything acidic) it feels you're starving and starts storing fat..fat is like cotton,more volume and less weight! so you might see weight loss,but not much inch loss.just have a healthy breakfast,a fruit as snack after about 2 hours,lunch and another snack after 2 hours and keep it light for dinner...

Avatar f tn Instead of cutting calories try increasing your activity level. Keeping a food journal can be helpful so you can catch yourself if you are over or under eating. Also like stated above try to drink only water so you aren't drinking your calories but make sure you are drinking enough. I know when I'm trying to eat less for whatever reason I drink less to. Another thing I've noticed about my body is if I cut my calories too much I will actually gain weight.
Avatar f tn some ways to raise metabolism are drinking green tea, coffee, and just working out, each time you go for a run your metabolism will rise a little. also start doing lunges and squats will work your bum and legs. walking is also really good. i was 82kg with the same butt and thigh problem i walked 1 hour everyday for 2 years and got down to 55kg. went from a size 14 to a size 8 and yes my butt looks a hell of a lot better!

I am doing the 500 calories a day, drinking a gallon of water per day, drinking oolong tea, & yerba mate tea. The 500 caloris consists of 100 grams of meat for lunch with a salad (or green beans, aspargus, brocoili) and the same for dinner. Avatar n tn I'd only say, as you don't say what tea you're going to be drinking or why you're fasting, is that when you fast, you should build up slowly. If you've never fasted before, you might try a one day fast first, then a few months later try one a little longer.

Also drinking 3 glasses of Green Tea (right before or after each meal) also helps you lose weight and get some energy. I'm not a big tea fan at all, but I Love the Lipton super fruit acai dragonfruit melon green tea (with 2 artificial sweeteners). Also try to have fun, hula hoop, jump rope, or hopscotch like you used to do as a kid and try to sing the songs that went with it.

I thought in the beginning it was from morning sickness and being actually sick, but for 3 weeks i haven't had a lot of morning sickness since i started drinking sprite and i haven't been sick. Avatar f tn Hello, props to you for trying to be healthier. If I might ask are you trying to lose weight? If you are, you may be replacing fat weight with muscle weight ( by working out) which is good. You can't always tell by a scale. It's best to judge by how your clothes are fitting you, since muscle weighs more than fat. Muscle also helps burn more calories. If it is your main goal to lose fat, you will have to watch the foods you are eating, like the person commented above.
Avatar f tn You can still drink soda tea and coffee you just have to limit it a little bit and drink a lot of water so you dont get dehydrated. Soda tea and coffee are not going to help you stay hydrated at all.
