Avatar f tn Nick: One other thing I forgot... Drinking LOTS of water helps in losing weight... You should be drinking a minimum of 100 ozs per day.. or at least 3 quarts.. and be sure and drink the water all through the day..not a whole lot at once...again Hope this is some help...
Avatar f tn Good for you, and congrats on your early success. I think lots of Lyme patients end up becoming "health nuts," or at least more so relative to their "pre-Lyme" selves. If you have the energy to put into making good choices and exercise, that's great. But listen carefully to your body and accept that a fully healthy person may have an easier time than you. I lost a chunk of weight (~40 lb) while undiagnosed and fighting my unknown enemy.
1034172 tn?1393042602 I am trying really hard not to drink lately, yet my boyfriend keeps showing up (just to say hi, hang out after work) - you see, I'm stuck at my parents house at age 34 - there are no jobs around here, vene though I apply on almost a daily basis. I'm obviuosly on the comptuer now, but don't feel good, naseous, a bit of anxiety - from shakiness, not drinking a few beers. My body's so used to it.
Avatar f tn You say "his pain is not happening anymore." What pain, and was he drinking to get rid of the pain? This is not clear. Also, is it actually possible to drink such a quantity of liquid? And if you are new to alcoholism, does that mean he just started his excessive drinking? Could you give us more information?
Avatar f tn I'm a little confused. Is anyone else losing weight? I'm 11weeks 5days. My weight before pregnancy was 180. 6weeks prego my weight was 168, 8weeks was 161, today i'm at 155. I thought in the beginning it was from morning sickness and being actually sick, but for 3 weeks i haven't had a lot of morning sickness since i started drinking sprite and i haven't been sick. I thought for sure by mid 11 weeks i would have gained at least a pound or two. Am I the only one losing?
Avatar n tn Hi there, Hope you are doing well. A good dietary regime and exercises all will be helpful in losing weight. Losing weight in a healthy way is important for maintaining the glow of your skin. Eat lots of fruits, dark green leafy vegetables, fruits and consume less of potato, sweetened and processed foods. Start your day by drinking lemon juice in warm water. Have fruits with lots of vitamin C in breakfast that will help you cut fats as vitamin C is a fat burner.
Avatar f tn s definitely not a smart idea. Maybe she should try non alcoholic beer instead.
Avatar f tn Im eating but losing weight and have not thrown up at all. Is this normal? The first time i went to the dr i was 176lbs average body size... And now almost three weeks later i am down to 170lbs. Yes ill admit i am drinking water and only water.
Avatar f tn t27ertwine said: " used to social drink, now that I found out that I have Hep. C... I find myself being anti-social bc I can't drink." I think t27 deserves credit for being willing to give up the alcohol where so many have not. As I read it, I think she's having a hard time giving up the time shared with friends who drink, not the drinking itself.
Avatar f tn She is asking if it would hurt her baby... one beer will not hurt baby... now I would not say the same if she would have asked about drinking a case a day... she was not asking to be downed or anything else.. I have seen women wanting support about abortion get better comments and more support than this woman asking about a beer.
Avatar f tn I crave beer but I just curb my craving with drinking non alcoholic beer.
Avatar n tn Well first let me say im no expert here ...but i see a few things. 1. you're doing wieght training so you're likely adding muscle while burning fat..muscle weighs more than fat so i would suggest you ignore the scale for a bit. 2. you might try doing weigth training only 2 or 3 days a week to stay toned and add a bit to the cardio.. 3.you may not be eating enough ..
Avatar f tn It depends on your original size for how worried they will get. Mine is caused by losing weight due to eating healthier and not drinking soda anymore.
Avatar f tn First off - welcome to the community - you've come to the right place for support. I'm very sorry that you've had cancer and 2 surgeries. I hope the surgeries were successful and that the cancer has been dealt with. You will need to lay out your own plan, based on what works for you and your family, but the members here are always ready and willing to provide tips and support.
Avatar f tn You have to pump of not your child will get everything you drink. You gatta be smart about it!
Avatar f tn I am almost 16 weeks and I'm down 3 pounds from the time I found out I was pregnant. I haven't been exercising more...actually I love to sleep over doing anything else. And I'm not "eating for 2" just yet. I'm sure as my appetite grows, the weight will come.
1337483 tn?1383544183 I'm glad to hear that you're not feeling "ill" with the weight loss and not having any other sypmtoms that might indicate a problem. I'm afraid I can't accurately answer your question about others (or me) losing a good bit of weight following an appendectomy.
Avatar f tn Drinking beer only, limiting the number of drinks, never drinking alone, never drinking in the morning, drinking only at home, never having it in the house, never drinking during business hours, drinking only at parties, switching from scotch to brandy, drinking only natural wines, agreeing to resign if ever drunk on the job, taking a trip, not taking a trip, swearing off forever (with and without a solemn oath), taking more physical exercise, reading inspirational books, going to health farms
Avatar f tn Soda is my weakness....not just any soda....rootbeer. I may be slightly (ok, very) addicted to it. The taste of it and the carbonation just makes my eyes water. I was told the #1 step in living healthier and losing weight is giving up soda. I'm not the biggest fan of water. Are there any other drinks I could have that aren't boring like water (or water + flavor mix ins....yuck)?
Avatar f tn sometimes.. im smoking and sumtimes and drinking beer.. is this bad? i love my husband so much... i want to get him back... were separated for 2 mos.. til now.. he really wanted to have a baby..
