Avatar f tn I'm a little confused. Is anyone else losing weight? I'm 11weeks 5days. My weight before pregnancy was 180. 6weeks prego my weight was 168, 8weeks was 161, today i'm at 155. I thought in the beginning it was from morning sickness and being actually sick, but for 3 weeks i haven't had a lot of morning sickness since i started drinking sprite and i haven't been sick. I thought for sure by mid 11 weeks i would have gained at least a pound or two. Am I the only one losing?

Avatar m tn I know that much of my weight from before could be attributed to the considerable amount I drank and that simply by stopping drinking the excess fell away. On the other hand I'm amazed at how many calories I can consume now and not gain a pound. Under normal circumstances I'm not prone to being overweight but I do find this a little curious. Anybody else using Mersyndol like me and noticing reduced weight?
29837 tn?1414534648 I saw the primary a week ago regarding this problem. His take, as well as mine, is the result of stopping the dreadful pain medication Oxycodone abruptly, which was prescribed for me after my spinal surgery. As my ideal weight is 185, I now am 173. However, that's one pound more than a week ago. What this means, is that I'm not losing anymore weight, but have gained one pound. This tell me it's a gradual recovery from the withdrawal I'm going through. I know losing 15 lbs.
Avatar f tn Hey! This generally happens with people after losing weight but like you said it should return to normal and remain undercontrol after sometime. Blood sugar ups n downs are not alone reponsible for hunger pangs but the entire lifestyle affetcs this. To enable me to help you better, pls give me your general daily diet brief plus any medication that you may be taking. Until then, try this simple trick-rule.

Avatar f tn Sugar can add thousands of calories to your daily intake causing weight gain and leading to diabetes. Stopping your intake abruptly may lead to sugar cravings and to headaches. Substitute it first for DietRite which is both caffeine and sugar ( and aspartame) free, but do it gradually, and than switch to water. Good luck.

Avatar f tn I'm having such a hard time losing the weight I gained when I was pregnant. I used to be very active and drank a lot of water, now I just want to lay around and don't drink water like I used to. I'm slowing getting back into the habit of drinking water more but I don't have the energy or drive to exercise. Any advice?
978106 tn?1285108401 I do not expect to lose alot of weight at a time. I want to do this slowly so it will stick, but the problem is im gaining weight. I lost 11lbs at first and have since gained back 3 in the last 2 weeks. I also have been more active over the last month, but admit not so much in the last week, I took a full time temp job and go to school full time so I have not had the time as of late. Help!
Avatar f tn Instead of cutting calories try increasing your activity level. Keeping a food journal can be helpful so you can catch yourself if you are over or under eating. Also like stated above try to drink only water so you aren't drinking your calories but make sure you are drinking enough. I know when I'm trying to eat less for whatever reason I drink less to. Another thing I've noticed about my body is if I cut my calories too much I will actually gain weight.
Avatar n tn If you consume a lot of alcohol, stopping drinking will allow your liver to heal. If you are overweight, losing weight will allow the liver to heal. Your doctor or consultant would explain exactly what the results mean and what type of treatment is required. Best wishes.
Avatar f tn Piles or haemorrhoids is nothing but venous plexus (network of veins) in the anal canal, which, due to hereditary predisposition and constipation are enlarged and are dragged down, towards the anus. The first step towards therapy would be to combat constipation, which is done by drinking plenty of water, like doubling your usual intake. Adding a lot of fiber rich food in your diet like green, leafy vegetables and bananas.
Avatar m tn Honestly stop trying to lose weight. You are in a healthy weight range now. But you should consider eating a little more and drinking more water.
