Avatar n tn Hi there, Hope you are doing well. A good dietary regime and exercises all will be helpful in losing weight. Losing weight in a healthy way is important for maintaining the glow of your skin. Eat lots of fruits, dark green leafy vegetables, fruits and consume less of potato, sweetened and processed foods. Start your day by drinking lemon juice in warm water. Have fruits with lots of vitamin C in breakfast that will help you cut fats as vitamin C is a fat burner.
Avatar f tn I'm a little confused. Is anyone else losing weight? I'm 11weeks 5days. My weight before pregnancy was 180. 6weeks prego my weight was 168, 8weeks was 161, today i'm at 155. I thought in the beginning it was from morning sickness and being actually sick, but for 3 weeks i haven't had a lot of morning sickness since i started drinking sprite and i haven't been sick. I thought for sure by mid 11 weeks i would have gained at least a pound or two. Am I the only one losing?
Avatar f tn I can guarantee you if you dont stop drinking you have a much greater chance at losing everything, mainly your life. I drank for many MANY years. Married and divorced 3 times, lost custody of my daughter etc. Losing my daughter was by far the worst thing i ever experienced and i wouldnt wish that on my worst enemy. Right now she is seeing that drinking is an acceptable thing and it is what you do to handle the stress of everyday life.
1669446 tn?1303551937 I have been using for the last 15 years of my life, and when i say using, that includes every drug possible. When I quit on February 20th, i started losing weight rapidly! I went from a size 11 jeans down to a 0! is that normal?

Avatar f tn I'm having such a hard time losing the weight I gained when I was pregnant. I used to be very active and drank a lot of water, now I just want to lay around and don't drink water like I used to. I'm slowing getting back into the habit of drinking water more but I don't have the energy or drive to exercise. Any advice?

I went from massive fruit cravings, to eating pancakes now and then, to eating portions about half a sandwhich, and now, I can barely eat a piece of toast. I was drinking ensure to make up for what I havn't been eating, but now I can't stomach even that. I feel so hungry and everytime I try to eat, my stomach screams in pain at me and I usually end up throwing it up.

Avatar f tn I'm 27 weeks and for the past three weeks I've noticed that I'm losing weight. I lost 2 pounds in two weeks. I now weigh 122 pounds and I'm worried I'm not a healthy weight. I eat a balanced diet andtry to have a snack whenever I feel hungry. What could possibly be wrong with me? Extremely worried.
Avatar f tn Nick: One other thing I forgot... Drinking LOTS of water helps in losing weight... You should be drinking a minimum of 100 ozs per day.. or at least 3 quarts.. and be sure and drink the water all through the day..not a whole lot at once...again Hope this is some help...
978106 tn?1285108401 I do not expect to lose alot of weight at a time. I want to do this slowly so it will stick, but the problem is im gaining weight. I lost 11lbs at first and have since gained back 3 in the last 2 weeks. I also have been more active over the last month, but admit not so much in the last week, I took a full time temp job and go to school full time so I have not had the time as of late. Help!
1149046 tn?1264361586 For your height, you are just about perfect weight. Losing 20 pounds would put almost in the "underweight" category. I would not advise doing that. Here's part of a height/weight chart that applies to YOU.
Avatar m tn I'm lookinf for a bit of advice about quitting drinking. First, I'm not an alcoholic in the traditional sense, but I would say I have a problem with drinking sometimes. I can go good lengths of time without alcohol, and can easily have just a few drinks at an occasion, however, if the occasion sees me having more than a few drinks, I seem to go past a tipping point and drink to excess. I never drink to excess though in an environment where that's not the norm.
Avatar f tn when i quit drinking i noticed results after about a month. i also reduced my calorie intake and was walking a few miles almost every day. i lost a lot of weight! just be patient, it took time to gain the weight it takes time to get rid of it too.
Avatar n tn I am pretty much 120 pounds overweight now, and I was actually quite skinny 6 years ago. I believe now that I have become a severe food addict. Well, I actually think it's not so much the food, but whatever "reward" my brain gives me from fat, salty, heavy foods.
Avatar f tn I havent had any kind of morning sickness, so I know I'm not losing weight for that reason. I get nauseous when I smell something that don't agree with me but have never got physically sick. I am drinking plenty of fluids and always have water with me where ever I go. My friends and family tell me its normal to lose weight before gaining it. I do take walks everyday and I'm not sure if that could have something to do with my weight loss too or not.
644974 tn?1312758070 But I have started losing weight now. I am 37w5d. My last 3 dr appointments I have lost about 2 lbs per visit. But if quitting smoking means putting on some extra weight, who cares!!! You quit smoking!!! That is considered the hardest addiction to kick! So congrats again, and dont worry about the weight gain! :) I am very proud of you! I haven't been able to manage to quit, but I am still cutting back.

1203066 tn?1265879976 Hi, If she hasn't seen the Vet for a recent exam, it wouldn't hurt to take her in and explain the symptoms if you feel this isn't the norm for her. Is she losing any weight? My cat was drinking water excessivly and also filling the litter box. It wasn't normal for her to be drinking so much water and urinating a lot. The diagnosis just recently was diabetes mellitus caught early, and now she is on insulin but doing okay.
