I felt bloated during my IVF, but not nauseous. Did you check if these are listed as side effects on any of the meds? Either way, if you're worried about it, just call your RE's office. They'll let you know what's normal and what's not.
By the way, if you continue to get more bloated as you take more of the follistim, make sure your doctor check you for hyperstimulation. He or she might cut down on your dose to avoid this.

I JUST found out I was pregnant yesterday and while I want to be excited I am worried because I was taking Doxycycline for a UTI that was diagnosed on Thursday. I stopped taking the medicine immediately after finding out I am pregnant, but I fear something may happen since I was on it for a few days. My Dr switched me to a medicine called Keflex for 10 days. I hate the thought of being on medication so early in the pregnancy even though I'm sure the Keflex is safe.
I've never done IVF Sara, but I am so proud of you for helping your friend. God bless your IVF cycle!! I hope you carry a beautiful baby for her. By the way, I just watched "Twins by Surrogacy" on the Discovery Health Channel. It was about a sister who carried babies for her sister who had to have a hysterectomy due to cervical cancer. It was a great story!!!! I'm sure they'll reair it. It's worth watching!!!
Ive been on doxycycline for 3 1/2 days, and the discharge has not gone away at all.. may have even worsened. My vagina hurts excruciatingly every time I pee. How long till the pain and discharge goes away?
The vet prescribed doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 3 weeks. My dog seems fine without any obvious symptoms. Can we just give him the doxycycline 100mg once a day instead because the medication may cause nausea/vomiting. Also after 3 weeks medication, how do you he is treated ? Any advice !

I took Doxycycline for 10 days to treat a sinus infection. A week after finishing the Doxy I developed a sore throat and sore tongue. I'm assuming it is a reaction to the drug. How long will this stay in my system and is there anything I can take to alleviate the reaction?

I've been taking doxycycline for acne on my back for a few weeks (50 mg twice daily). The doxycycline was prescribed for inflamed pimples on my back, which would be sore and red. Each individual pimple would go away on its own but I would generally have a couple new ones every week.
I had been having acid reflux before I started taking the doxycycline, and it seems to be worse now. Yesterday, I rolled over on my stomach while in bed and my esophagus was burned by acid.
But the insomnia was miserable so I called my doctor to ask if there was anything I could do for the side effects, so he switched me to 3 wks of doxycycline, which I started taking immediately. Now I sleep OK but after two days the symptoms are back in full force. I'm wondering if I made a mistake in switching. Have others had similar experiences? Is doxy just slower to take effect?
Two weeks later a large infected rash appeared. I got myself tested for Lyme and it came out negative. I was given a day of Doxycycline and then it was changed to Amoxicillan. I took it for two weeks. The doctor told me to stop the medication and get retested. Two weeks later, I got my positive results. I had, at this point, two weeks on, two weeks off the antibiotics. When I returned to the doctor with positive results, he put me back on Doxycycline for another two weeks.
April 6th I went to my gyn told them my situation and was retested. Of course it came back positive my dr gave me more doxycycline for 2 weeks. Not letting me know that I will test positive for some time. I couldn't deal with the doxycycline anymore so I returned to the health department where I was first tested and asked for the penicillin shot because at this point I didn't care about a slight reaction(my gyn and primary provider refused).
