matched symptoms upon arrival at ER and it is prevalent in the area. Tests are not back yet. Doxycycline IV antibiotics made a great difference and felt great the next day. However, the following morning I woke with a crushing headache again. The pain being centered at the forehead with even a raised area on it. Even with taking 800 mg ibuprofen no relief was found. Concerned about something else. I am currently taking doxycycline every 12 hrs as prescribed.

After 3.5 months around last week of July I got swelling and pain in my right testicle again. This time I took Amoxycillin 875 mg for a week. I consulted different Urologist and got Doppler US done on my scrotum. US revealed distended veins and varicocele and I was referred to Gen. Surgeon.
Because his PSA was 8 then 11 he was referred to urology He saw a urologist who told him to take ibuprofen around the clock for a month and return. He did, without any relief. Then he was given doxycycline to take along with the Ibuprofen and advised to come back in a month. On the third visit a biopsy was done which ruled out cancer. No follow up was advised except another psa in 6 months.
Thanks for the input, Grace. Epididymitis is often caused by strains of chlamydia and gonorrhea, or by coliform bacteria in homosexual men. I posted here because I was curious if anyone knew about fluoroquinolone resistance in C. Trachomatis (levofloxacin vs. ciprofloxacin, bacteriostatic or bactericidal effects), or anything along those lines.
Moreover I was looking to find answers on google and I came across this which says drug interference was checked for the following drugs and I’m very surprised to see there’s so many meds on the list like ascorbic acid, paracetamol, ibuprofen etc and even doxycycline and possible interferences of these drugs was tested but the concentrations tested are listed and I’m afraid I was taking more than 50 mg of doxycycline!

I have a massive period ache , therefore I took 1100 mg of ibuprofen . At first I had taken 500 mg tablet but it's been an hour and a half and it did not help , so I took an other tablet of ibuprofen of 600 mg .
The pain is gone but I feel very tired , can I be harmed or die out of it ?
Should I ask for help ? Or has anybody been familiar with it ? Please help me , I am a hypochondriac person and I also have OCD and use Prozac .
whenever i take even one 550mg (naproxen) ibuprofen and then drink, my stomach gets tender and bloated and i feel bad. i usually take a maalox or something like that, yet i never throw up from it so i don't know if that's applicable for you. i think it is due to the ibuprofen, but if you're not used to eating spicy foods then it could have disagreed with you, not necessarily meaning food poisoning. you should never drink and take NSAIDs at the same time.
Is 3-6 200mg Ibuprofen a day for a 3-6 days a week bad for you over a long period of time?
I don't know if I'm pregnant or not but If I am can Ibuprofen harm my child during early stages of pregnancy?
Is it true you shouldn't take ibuprofen it can harm the baby? I just seen this today while doing research as to this is my first. i have been taking it before I found out I was thinking my period was coming and I've always had bad cramps so I know to start taking it before my period comes to help with the pain. Should I be worried that I've harmed the baby from taking it? I'm 5 weeks BTW.
