Yikes! Ya,,that will set you back a little bit. BUT the good news is you are here and willingly wanting to get sober. You are gonna start at the beginning again with the detox. 24-72 hours after your last pill the w/d's are settling in-the physical ones. Having been thru them before I know you know what to expect. It looks like the mental hell is what snagged ya. You need to have a plan in place to address that when it creeps up cuz It will come back.

I also got coughing so hard I coughed up/vommited mucous 3 times and it was very thick. When I start coughing it's hard to stop and I feel like i can't breath. This morning I thought it might have gone away and I feel a little better but I still can't take a full deep breath without coughing, I've looked up symptoms and think it might possibly be bronchitis?

Have you had really bad morning sickness lately? Or been coughing a lot?

Hello, Your symptoms are very similar to mine. I am a healthy, fitness addict, 40-yr old. 4 Weeks ago felt shortness of breath during my workouts, "broken" ribs pain, and violent coughing when working out. Otherwise, felt fine. No fatigue, no other real major symptoms. Doc listened to lungs and visual inspection of throat, nothing. Went and got x-rays and discovered 2/3 of left lung with pneumonia.

I can not stop coughing. Cough drops aren't really helping. I'm 16w3d. Is there anything I can do or take to help?

ve had a cough all day today and my nose has started to run I think I might be getting another cold. This ***** time to dig out the warm steam inhaler again.

Lol yes when I had the morning sickness I had to sit on the toilet and us a bucket cause whenever I threw up I would pee at the same time... Laughing coughing sneezing all of that..

The chest pain on coughing and exposure to cold can also be due to irritation of the nerves of the chest on coughing and are normally present in any of the above conditions. I feel that for all your above symptoms ,you need to consult a physician/sleep specialist and discuss these possibilities with him.Also take iron supplements and multivitamins for some days. I have the same thing going but I have an Albuterol inhaler and only when i wake up my voice is like a whisper and then i cough but whenever I take a shower it will go away and that's possibly because I take very hot showers and so when the hot water hits it i guess it just goes away. Hope this helps.

None of them seem to relate to the closure of the windpipe and cant give me a straight answer when I ask them. Has anyone an answer or better still has anyone else had this problem.

I am currently 20 years old. I started getting dizzy in the shower when I was 12, it progressively got worse and when I was 14 I started to passing out.. but not actually full on blacking out.. I would have tunnel vision extreme dizziness my breaths would shorten and I was almost like paralized. I would just fall and there was nothing I could do to stop it.

Been doing a lot of coughing, a whole lot of it! They gave me cough meds and inhaler to help try and stop this, but it's not working. As you all can understand, coughing while living with Chiari is horrible. I've created such hypersensitivity in my head now, that if I turn my neck wrong, I create the shooting pain up and down my head.

Over the last 2 weeks, my father have had 5 attacks of blacking out after coughing. These blackouts last for just seconds( 20 secs) and seem to be increasing in frequency. sometimes vommiting also. Admitted in hospital for 5 days, doctors did all the testings till ct scan but they did not find anything. still its the same condition. I checked you also got that problem?

Only thing that does help is a hot shower but as soon as I get out, I start coughing again! I hate that it depends on the doctor because when the nurse was explaining the prescriptions he said if I wasn't pregnant, I could have got Tylenol with codeine, but last time I was pregnant I got Tylenol 3 for my back! I'm hoping if it's still going on when I have my appointment on Thursday, my actual doctor will do something better!

5 weeks after the incident I had a fever that lasted for 3 days, sore throat, loss of appetite, no longer thirsty, runny nose, coughing, and a lot of mucus in the back of my throat. Only the fever has gone away and I currently have the rest of the symptoms. I am really scared for my life and I am unsure of what to do???? I was then diagnosed with walking pneumonia and placed on a Zpack of antiobiotics along with a 6 day steroidal . I am on day 4 of taking these medications, but the difficulty breathing is still there, and the fever has actually gone up slightly. I also noticed that for the first time, lying down makes the breathing worse (especially if I lay flat on my back) and also makes my chest feel heavy with pressure.

Hi, Im a 19 yr old girl and im wondering if breathing difficulties i have during exercise/sports is caused by EIA or if im just out of shape. Im not super lazy or anything (i dont sit around and watch tv a ton lol) and i do have a full-time job where im on my feet for most of the day. Yesterday i was playing a little bit of basketball with a friend (we couldnt have been playing for more then 10 minutes) and he made me stop cus he said i was scaring him by my breathing.

What helps is turning the shower on as hot as you can get it (without you in it of course) and let the steam build up and sit in there for a few minutes. The steam starts helping congestion and clearing things out for a little bit.

Caffiene free tea, teaspoon of honey and a lemon slice in it! For the coughing try sucking on some candy's or a fruit pop. Hope you feel better!

m not sure if I fainted but I was forced to get out of the shower or I would of collapsed/fainted again. Then I spen like 20 minutes going from the floor to the toilet to get some tylonal but mostly on the floor because I couldn't even stand the uncomfortable posision is strait on my stomach. My back is alright now but that's because I'm laying down I'm not even going to try standing right now I'll go for a nap first.

Hello. My daughter is constantly coughing all night . She has been given a blue inhaler but it doesn't seem to be helping . is there anything i can do other than all the obvious things i.e propping her up etc. any help would be appreciated as she's missing out on a fair amount of school with being so tired . thank you .
