coughing in shower

I can not stop coughing. Cough drops aren't really helping. I'm 16w3d. Is there anything I can do or take to help?

To help with the congestion try those disks u put in the shower and inhale the vapors...it really helps clear u up. May I ask y u wanted a second opinion?...don't be hasty, slow down .....I understand what u r going thru but to rush and change ur mind while u r not feeling well is not good either. What other testing were u going to have?

And I went 4 days of having a headache and then the next morning my eye was fine and then I got in the shower and while brushing my teeth I notice red in my eye, to my shock it was bloody and at the bottom of my right eye, I've never had this before and didn't know why it happened. As the day went on my eye started to hurt and I started to get another headache. Could my eye and headache to related??

The most annoying thing is that I am scared to take any kind of meds for the coughing. I feel like a lump is sick in my throat and no matter how much I cough I can't get rid of it. Also I found that every time I cough I pee a little and I have to be wearing a pad.

The only thing is my period is always late lately so I never really know when it's coming also the day befor I got my period and the first day I had a HUGE craving for milk I had to have like 5 small mugs befor I satisfied my craving even then my craving wasent settled I was just full as could be.

I am a non-smoker, I have been coughing for the las month or so, this morning in the shower I started to spit black phlegm. Now I know this is not "normal". My father died from lung cancer at age 61, he was a smoker. I am using "Flovent" in the morning and "Ventolin" as needed. Yesterday I noticed my throat was a little mucousy and I was coughing a little, then later that night I got a really bad cough and when I would try to breath like normal it feels like there's a scratch in my throat that makes me cough so I can only breath shallow without coughing. I also got coughing so hard I coughed up/vommited mucous 3 times and it was very thick. When I start coughing it's hard to stop and I feel like i can't breath.

Caffiene free tea, teaspoon of honey and a lemon slice in it! For the coughing try sucking on some candy's or a fruit pop. Hope you feel better!

I have the same thing going but I have an Albuterol inhaler and only when i wake up my voice is like a whisper and then i cough but whenever I take a shower it will go away and that's possibly because I take very hot showers and so when the hot water hits it i guess it just goes away. Hope this helps.

So, almost a month into this whole ordeal and they are still coughing/sneezing on a regular basis. Numerous times a day, probably several times in an hour, at least. The puppie's gets worse at night. Am I over reacting or should I travel out of town to a different vet? Does anyone know if it takes THIS long for KC to go away? Could it be something else?

Hey ladies, other than baby vicks (put it on a sock in her bassinet instead of on her) and a humidifier, what's good for coughing? Aubryana's only 8 weeks old, I took her to the dr Mon or Tues and she said that she just has a virus...she seems to me like it's an upper respiratory infection, she's sneezing a lot, coughing, and stuffy. Not much comes out when I use the saline drops and suction bulb. :( She's too little to be sick!

Day 6 of coughing up my damn lungs I've had fever chills and double ear infections!! Stupid dr gave me ear drops when I saw him and I told him I had been like that for 3 days and the robitussin wasnt helping he just said to keep taking it and even tho I've called 3 times since that visit he doesn't get that stupid robitussin isn't helping!!!

Im just so excited im tryin to keep myself busy so i aint starring at the clock. N tryin to keep myself awake so i can take a shower later n wash up with this nasty lookin stuff they gave me n then go to bed. N get up around 330am to just take another shower with it n be at the hospital by 530am.

My doc gave me an antibiotic but Humidifier or boiling water, turn ur shower full blown hot.. put a towel in crack of door and just stand in the bathroom breathing in the steam! Those are some things that help me a lil bit.

my sister is a smoker for like 3 - 4 years maybe like 2 a day lately shes been coughing everyday 2-3 time a day and just this past 3 days shes been spiting blood in the morning what can this be we are very worried is smoking the cause of this

Hi there I would go to gp blood in saliva could be due to chest infection,coughing too much thus bursting tiny vessels in throat(not serious) if you have severe gastric disorder it could be coming from gastric is the blood bright red? If so this is prob due to strain from coughing,is the blood brown in colour if so this is old blood and should be checked out ASAP are you on medications that could be making gums bleed thus leaving slight blood in your salvia.

I had my TT on Thursday and occassionally I get this cough but more like a tickle in my throat. Anyone experience this? Is this normal? I would think so, but just asking.
