Common Questions and Answers about Coughing robot

coughing

Avatar f tn Remember these symptoms will occur. Think of it this way---if you had a cold you would be coughing and exhibiting signs of having a cold--therefore even when you feel calm etc--anxious feelings can be present--accept that they are there and just continue your activity. The moment you stop and begin to worry they never go away... The weird feeling which you refer to might be derealisation...I hate that feeling--how do you feel when you say you feel weird?
Avatar n tn Reach arms out in front and to the side. These are robot arms. No one can get closer than robot arms. Then quiet robot arm or space bubble reminders (without an upset tone, just a reminder). This worked for my son. We also did a lot of choice giving "do you want to sit in the circle in your space bubble, in a chair along the side (comfy chair like bean bag), or at your table? They choose. Not just redirected but given power of acceptable choices.
Avatar m tn Ohhhhhhhh tecnology. I was reading about roxxxy the sex robot on yahoo and had to laugh. I am just gonna copy a few parts from the page and tell me what you think, lmao. LAS VEGAS, Nevada (AFP) - Billed as a world first, Roxxxy the sex robot made her debut in front of adoring fans at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. "She's a companion. She has a personality. She hears you. She listens to you. She speaks. She feels your touch. She goes to sleep.
Avatar m tn I've had pain, bleeding, and unbelievable tiredness since my da vinci robot assist hysterectomy. In fact, I had to undergo an emergency surgery 4 weeks after my actual surgery because the robot knicked an artery. I severely hemorrhaged from that mistake. Still today, now 6 weeks later, I'm bleeding and have excruciating pain in my lower right pelvic area. I'm so depressed, I'm having to take anxiety medicine.
Avatar n tn t even connect it at first because I went to the doctor feeling like I had the air knocked out of me ; and walking around like a robot in slow-mo .This has been recurrent and seemingly going into two remissions now since it happened. This is the second one and accept for the chronic convulsive-like coughing attacks , I am doing better at the moment . When something happens , it's as if out of the blue , when I least expect it ; like my battery winds all the way down . Hard to explain.
320078 tn?1278344720 30 that afternoon when Tommy, their 15 year old son, returned home from school. Tommy was over 2 hours late. Where have you been? Why are you over 2 hours late getting home?' asked John. Several of us went to the library to work on an extra credit project,' said Tommy. The robot then walked around the table and slapped Tommy, knocking him completely out of his chair. said John, 'this robot is a lie detector, now tell us where you really were after school.
Avatar n tn So, here is something that worked with my guy when he was little. It was called robot arms. If you stick your arms out like a robot and walk up to someone, you can't get any closer than those outstretched robot arms. :>) So, we role played and made it fun. And then I could say "robot arms' or his teacher could and he could remind himself as it got to be a habit that you aren't to get closer to anyone than that. Another approach is the person bubble.
Avatar f tn You can make it fun like robot arms. You put your arms out straight and to the sides straight too like a robot and walk around. He does it too. then you say you can't get any closer to other kids than the robot arms. I used this and would gently say robot arms to remind my son when we were out. Also, you could do a space bubble. Pretend he has a bubble around him and other kids also have a bubble. You don't get closer than your space bubbles. This helps.
Avatar f tn hi, I have a 6 year old myself and many of them are often in other's space a bit. If the school is starting to work on it, then it is an ongoing problem. Don't feel alone, many kids don't naturally pick up on social boundaries. I say it is an ongoing problem because most likely he's been instructed on this by his teacher and now the counselor is called in as it is not improving. Here are some things you can do to 'teach' him about boundaries.
Avatar n tn My GB was removed 02/15/13 , no stones GB working @ 30%, using the Da Vinci robot. On 02/17 ER with pain that felt like the start of heartburn, but went around abdom to my back. Told it was gas pain from surgery & sent home. I've had 3 C-Sections & didn't think that was it. 02/16 EMA took me to ER with severe pain & shortness of breath. Received 3 morph shots in probably 30 min & it didn't ease any pain.
Avatar f tn He is incredibly competetive and has just lost a game on wii. Ridiculous I know. He has stormed into his room, thrown a robot on the floor, broken a clock radio and thrown every thing around his room. This sounds bizarre but the strength of his reactions are getting worse. I have now taken the wii away. Taken away the robot, the clock and left him in his room. I've talked to him. Un plugged the TV and taken away all privilidges.
Avatar m tn IF I had a lot of $ (no insurance would pay anyway most likely} could you or another very experianced surgeon with a robot, go back into my guts and attempt to remove the cancer thats in the fat to the right of the margins while the psa is still non-detectable? pt3a 52years old and no serious other medical conditions? thanks in advance!
Avatar f tn It's similar to keyhole however it is performed by a robot while the surgeon sits at the console and manipulates the instruments. It is supposed to be less invasive.
Avatar f tn I know what you mean...I also see colors like anatomy when I look at people., hyper aware of people's anatomy.
Avatar f tn Many patients climb back into bed when the nurse has gone because they feel too tired to sit up. Breathing exercises are important as is coughing. You will be told to pull a pillow into your chest for coughing. This will ensure your lungs inflate properly and get the relevant exercise. The most important thing for you after the surgery is to have the right frame of mind.
Avatar f tn So my doctor speaks a different language but can communicate with Emglish, but she's like a robot! Doesn't answer all my Qs and rushes me everytime I go, and leaves me worried sick whenever I ask her about something critical! Do you think I should search for another one?
Avatar f tn i’m 25 and just had a full hysterectomy and oophorectomy three days ago (with the da vinci robot). i understand that you’re supposed to wait several weeks before inserting anything inside the vagina, so sexual penetration is a no-go. what i want to know is how long i should wait until i masturbate using only external stimulation? i’m worried that the orgasm itself may be bad for healing or hurt because of the way the muscles contract. does anyone have any advice or experience with this?
Avatar f tn NO...I don't think it's normal at all that you don't feel anything. I would get back in to the doctors and tell them what you are feeling (or not feeling) and insist that they consider a change for you. I mean, it sounds to me like you're saying this is new, and anything that bothersome and NEW should be dealt with. It could very well be the medication.
Avatar f tn I woke up this morning feeling fine, but as I was watching videos on my phone the sound changed. It sounds like almost robot like in my ears, distortion forsure and I'm freaking out. I play piano and all my music sounds off key! What the hell is happening? I'm 28 so its not hearing loss!? Please help.
Avatar m tn It was done through games, role playing, and clear expectations. Example--- we played the robot game. Arms out, walk like robot. You could not get any closer to someone than the robot arms (arms straight out or straight out to the side) or your machine went haywire. After playng this a bit (which is fun), he was asked to always put this into practice --- and I would give him that verbal cue. "Robot arms X(his name)" and he'd be mindful of not getting too close.
Avatar f tn Hm. Well he is 5 and 5 year olds don't always get boundaries. Don't feel alone, many kids have issues in the first couple of years of schools as they adjust------------ they are huge transitional years. Keeping hands to self is an important lesson that I would work on with your son. You can start by discussing it. How close is too close? Well, you can get something like a hula hoop or a swimming pool round float and have him put it around him. Then you try to get in.
Avatar m tn Oh, respecting space game for kids. Take a hoola hoop and have him put it around him. Then . . . try to get in with him. He'll laugh as you clearly don't fit and are in his "space". It illistrates the concept of your space my space. He shouldn't get into someone else's hoola hoop whether it is there or not. Also, we did "robot arms". Stick your arms out and walk like a robot. Ask him to do it.

Avatar n tn Ahh, honey. It's hard being a mom! Your post takes me back in time and I'd like to give you my thoughts. First, I'm the mom of two boys about 15 months apart in age. They were a dream come true when I had them as it seemed like forever to make happen! I was an older mom and left my career to do the mom thing with great joy! Oh, I adore my kids. And they were clearly smart, sweet and wonderful. Then I put my older son into preschool. He just went two half days a week.
Avatar m tn ve felt that way several times, like a robot just doing routine things without any feelings/emotions whatsoever. of course the actual reason would only be known to a psychiatrist.
