Certain infections like tuberculosis can cause constant coughing and an evening rise of temperature and increased sweating. Friday evening I aspirated and had 2 hours of very heavy coughing. The coughing stopped after about 2 hours and now I feel OK but I've lost my voice and when I cough the bottom of my lungs or my stomach mildly hurts. What know?

Bryce was eating some grass yesterday, and he started throwing up in the late afternoon. The vomit was clear and watery. Before he vomits, he coughs a lot. Other than the coughing and vomiting, he's acting normal and healthy. He is currently on Ivomec to treat his mange and has been since Sat., June 28. However, he missed his doses during the three days he was missing, from Mon., June 30 to Wed., July 2. He began the doses again Thur., July 3. He is taking 0.5 mL once a day.

I need to know if this is normal, maybe just my body's way of clearing everything out. I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant four months ago. Got 'em bad. Recently had dosage upped to 1600 riba daily, from 1200, as apparently HGB count wasn't going down much. Now I've got coughing fits, coughing from the heels, coughing till dizzy. It is quite common to have throat irritation and coughing in the morning because of reflux (in fact, it is a known symptom of reflux). Do you have difficulty breathing? Shortness of breath? Phlegm or coughing other than upon waking or while eating?

My problem now is that I have a very wet sounding cough that seems to flare up in the morning when I am getting ready for work and then again in the evening right before bed. The other has hyperadrenergic POTS and has a higher pitched cough when she stands too much. It comes on in the evening. She has had asthma completely ruled out with pulmonology tests, but they can't tell her what is causing it. Very frustrating!
