Avatar f tn Do we need to eat boiled egg daily. I haven't started yet I'm 24 weeks now. I don't like eggs. What will happen if we don't eat egg daily? Does it effect my baby somehow?
703362 tn?1427766328 In addition, eggs are inexpensive, delicious and easy to prepare. I personally enjoy a hard-cooked egg almost every single day for breakfast or a mid-day snack. I find them easy to prepare ahead and pull out when I am ready to eat oneā€¦helping me to avoid other snacks that might not be nearly so healthy for me! The protein keeps me full longer and moving along until my next scheduled eating time. So if you enjoy eggs, consider healthy ways to add eggs into your diet.
3923358 tn?1358552214 I woke up and ate a hard boiled and 1/3 cup of apple sauce. I bought a meter because i like keeping track and my doctor reccomends it due to type 1 running in the family. About 1/2 after i ate I started to feel sort of out of it and so I tested it and my blood sugar was 69, is that low. Also yesterday my fasting glucose was 131. Should I be concerned?
Avatar f tn I have heard if you eat a hard boiled egg every hour it will should go down.but I heard that.
Avatar f tn re better off with high protein and maybe some fat, maybe eggs, hard boiled eggs or egg whites, maybe a little peanut butter and I mean a little as it has 16g of fat per serving, maybe some jerky. #1 option is a protein shake. The reason protein and fat before bed is because it's the longest period of time your body goes without any food, fat slows down your digestive track allow the protein to digest slowly giving you a great full body recovery especially if you exercise regularly.
Avatar f tn Im definitely making some now lol
8101930 tn?1420001456 I'm taking my one hour non fasting glucose test on Friday and I just have a few questions to the ladies who have taken it already. . I don't eat terrible but I do like fruits and I know they have natural sugar in them.. Should I not eat any fruit and cut out carbs tomorrow to get myself prepared for the test on Friday? Or What do you ladies think?

Avatar f tn You should be fine- this isn't that uncommon as it's really easy to leave a little piece of shell on a hard boiled egg. Remember, even if she didn't wash them- the whole egg has been boiled in high temps which would kill off any germs.
Avatar f tn i thought u couldnt have fried egg while pregnant only well cooked eggs like hard boiled and scrambled egg?
7628588 tn?1392763151 Yes, adopt a Paleo lifestyle. Humans were not designed to run on the carbohydrates we typically consume daily. They were seasonal treats found during the warm months of the year, honey, berries, and fruit. Our bodies have not evolved sufficiently to run on carbohydrates. Rampant Type II diabetes is proof of that. So, do you really want to lose weight, and lower your blood glucose level? No "white stuff".
Avatar n tn snack including fat and protein may be helpful. Cheese and boiled egg, some nuts, cold meats, plain full fat greek youghurt with some nuts / berries added, etc.

193609 tn?1292180293 Remember you need to make sure your blood sugar stays fairly level to avoid becoming ravenous later on. Why not try the yogurt before the workout and something else light (like maybe a hard boiled egg or something) afterward to help you keep going till your next meal? Just make sure you eat enough to keep your body from thinking it's not going to get food or it will go into "starvation" mode, which will make weight loss very difficult.
7058746 tn?1393435420 3 meals a day and 2-3 snack. I eat a lot of cheeses and hard boiled eggs for snacks. Once you meet with your nutritionist you will get a glucometer and be checking your levels a lot and that will tell you if you need to cut carbs back even more. It took forever for them to get me into a nutritionist so I hope this helps you! I hated waiting.

Avatar m tn Doc said it was stress but when I hired a Nutritionist she found that my meals and snacks were low in Protein and high in Carbs. It was only when I started having a high Protein diet that my stress levels dropped and the shakiness has subsided. Eating protein rich foods such as eggs, meat, fish, milk, cheece, yogurt, nuts, pulses and legemes will help u feel more stable.
