Today is my first day working out and stuff, so I am not expecting perfection immediatly, so I will just stick with half abagel tomorrow. It is 10, and so far I have had abagel, a yogurt, and a handful of almonds. I went to the gym and worked out for an hour, can't believe how out of shape I am! 20 minutes on the elliptical about killed me!
Is there a list somewhere of foods and there carb value. Also which are good carbs and which are empty carbs? Gaining 1/4 of her body weight seems excessive.
Hmm that's a good question, maybe McDonald's steak bagel meal since I've been craving it for a couple of weeks now? I know I really want a Sprite this morning.
What?! My day is now ruined Lol. I had a bacon egg & cheese bagel with extra sauce ever morning for almost a month early in my second trimester. This *****.
First off, have you had your thyroid checked to make sure it's functioning properly? Hypothyroidism not only causes weight gain, it can cause miscarriage, difficulty conceiving and a lot of other symptoms.. Ask your doctor to test TSH, Free T3 and Free T4.
I do have some input, but you probably won't like it.
Was the bagel with jelly, milk and banana for one meal?
I looked on the internet and one website said normal people never go above 140 ever but I figured abagel and huge glass of OJ would cause a major sugar spike in anyone. Thanks again!
All i keep thinking is 10cm dialated is the size of abagel and then i think a baby is way bigger then abagel and it just scares me ..... anyone else nervous about the exit part of this plan ?
If it raises it to high then stay away from it and do something like egg and cheese on a thin bagel or she said the pre package of flavored oats is good just don't add more sugar to it.
Instead of wasting your money on junk, spend it on some protein bars (I like to get the chocolate ones because I get a chocolate fix once ina while) or some protein shakes. Buy healthier versions of the stuff you love and try new things!
If it is not accessible, you can't have it. Indulging once in awhile, especially if you've been on the right track, is okay. But definitely in moderation.
Idk, I just think some people gain more than others... I was 150 by 26 weeks... My doctor told me my healthy weight gain was around 45-50pounds and I feel like yours would be sort of around the same. Bread has carbs so if you're not working it off it'll turn to fat but in all honesty, you need some carbs occasionally. Your diet sounds good, I really don't see a huge problem.
I usually do some sort of bread (toast, half abagel thin) with natural PB on it with an egg and/or breakfast meat. The only way I like oatmeal is with brown sugar so I'm sure that's not a go for now.
Working out isn't really enough. It's amazing how easy it is to consume calories and how hard it is to burn them off. Are you using the food and activity loggers? Using a food logger was a real eye-opener for me; I didn't realize just how many calories I actually consumed in a typical day and I certainly didn't realize just how bad carbs are for you.
for me, anything with carbs helped. in the morning, i used to vomit after 30 mins when i woke up. now, i just get a real small bowl if grape nuts, or 1/4 of a bagel. i still vomit, but its less frequent.
