Avatar f tn Hi I am a ftm and 17 weeks with twins. I walk to work everyday (30 minute walk). Then work with children all day so that keeps me fit and going, then some days I also walk home after I finish my shift. I don't drive so I have to walk everywhere.
Avatar f tn I need a good workout plan for me without having to visit a gym. Are there any good, trustworthy and up-to-date sites that I can save to keep going back to do these exercises over and over each day? Or would anyone have any suggestions on where to begin?
172023 tn?1334672284 Today, I played hookey from the gym, and felt so guilty after lunch that I tried a 30 minute workout they had in profiled. Supposedly burns 300 cals, but I always take that with a grain of salt. This did make me work up a sweat! It went like this: #1. 2 min, march in place #2. 2 min jumping jacks #3.
Avatar f tn I usually workout in the morning 30 Elliptical/20 speed walk and 5 mins AB during the weekdays. And recently I also workout at evening afterwork, sometime 30- 40 mins with Wii game, boxing or resistant workout. But I have changed 2 weeks ago, skip the Wii game, and 30 Elliptical/30 race walk 4 days a week (evening). plus 20 - 30 mins weight training 2 times a week. I still keep working out 5 days in the moring.

1858556 tn?1319811692 my heart rate is between 125 - 130. Should I wait for it to come down before i start on a 30 minute workout on the weight machines the weights? If yes, how far down?
Avatar f tn If you have an iPhone, look up the 7 minute workout app (it's free). It's basically 12 high intensity exercises, 30 seconds each with 10 second rest periods in-between. Like you, I'm close to plus size and and just started this ap about a week ago. It kicked my butt the first few days but it's getting easier and you can modify it (I do girl push-ups instead of regular push-ups).
Avatar f tn I've been so tired and nauseous that it's been really hard to motivate myself to go to the gym. If I'm up for it, I will do a moderate workout with light weights and 30 min on the elliptical. I'm trying to do prenatal yoga once a week and also will be trying an at home prenatal workout video. It's justt so hard to motivate! My midwife said that lots of women who are used to working out simply stop during their first trimester since they feel so bad.
Avatar n tn For a boot camp-style training session, perform each exercise for one minute with a 30-second recovery between exercises. Rest for three minutes after completing the first set, and then complete two more sets. The following is an excellent routine! https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?p=Plyometric+exercises+at+home+youtube&ei=UTF-8&hspart=mozilla&hsimp=yhs-001 Get the OK from your doctor!!!
Avatar f tn dynamic stretches, 25 hip bridges, 6 timed planks (2 per each side, 2 low, and 2 high), 30 squats, 3 one minute jumps, 15 push-ups, 3 one minute Russian twists, 15 more push ups, 100 crunches, 3 one minute bicycles, 50 sit-ups, 3 3 minute Pilates boxing, and end with some stretches That is a really good core workout, and it works some other muscles too!
Avatar f tn Do exercises for chest, biceps, triceps, and core. Keep the workout between 30-45 minutes to start. Rest 30 seconds to 1 minute between sets. Do 2 sets of 15 repetitions for each exercise then go home! No cardio on this day Wednesday-do some kind of cardiovascular exercise for 20-30 minutes. If you walked on Monday swim, cycle, elliptical, stepper this day. Thursday-strength training for back/shoulders/core.

Avatar n tn This occurs even after a 5 minute workout. After sitting and relaxing i feel better in about 30 minutes. Ive recently came across hyperthyroidism while on google and i am not trying to self diagnose but i filled out the checklist and i have just about every symptom but hair thinning. My resting pulse is at about 85-90 and i am a constantly anxious person to the point to where my sleep suffers hugely. Even when i am well rested i cant get a grasp on this.
Avatar f tn A 30 minute workout would put me in bed for a day, maybe two!!!! When you’ve had multiple days in a row of feeling well try a 10 minute walk. Just a walk. If you don’t flare within 48 hours stick to the 10 minutes for a week, and if no flares slowly increase. I will also share aka autoimmune and EBV and how much diet can help. I have finally decided to try a high fat moderate protein ketogenic diet. I am 80% animal fats, 20% protein I have felt great for seven days in a row!
Avatar m tn I work out at an exercise gym and go on the treadmill 3 days a week for 30 minutes in a cardiac workout at level 8 or 9. My father had an angioplasty at age 67. Over the past few weeks I have noted that I get some mild tightness in the left corner of my chest near my shoulder, which can sometimes radiate to my neck. It generally comes on after light exercise or while I am on the treadmill, but it can also occur while working at my desk.
Avatar n tn I do cardio on an elliptical trainer 30-35 mins five times a week, starting at 140 steps/min and increasing by minute 30 to 190+. My heart rate starts at 78 and moves to 100 in 2-3 mins, but here's the problem: if I push my heart rate to over 120 in less than 10-15 mins, it jumps and registers 190 on the HR meter on the machine. It feels like a PVC outburst; I can even feel it coming.
Avatar f tn I'm a ftm and me and my Doula just did mines last week and im 36 weeks & 4 days
Avatar f tn I ate low fat/ no fat and drank 3 Liters of water a day and did a 30 minute Taebo workout Monday through Friday. I had a baby and gained 120lbs and didn't really change anything. I was 249 when I delivered and now I'm 175lbs and I have been trying to get the rest of the weight off. I am wanting to lose another 40lbs and nothing seems to work. I thought it might have something to do with having my gallbladder removed three years ago.
Avatar f tn Im 22 wks and I've stopped all my zumba classes (the only thing I truly miss) but I try as much as I can to do light weights and use my treadmill as much as possible but some days I can sprint for a hr and sometimes I can't even make it 30 min! So just do what feels rite! Ur body will tell u when it's enough! Congrats!
579258 tn?1250649343 As promised, though I skipped working out in the AM, I did accomplish a 30 minute stint on the stair machine this PM. OK, now to fill in my tracker, rest and drink lots of water. Barb135--I have Wii fit, too, but haven't used it that much yet. And walking during work is a great idea if you can fit it in. Good ideas.
Avatar f tn abs, legs, biceps, chest, or back). So every day I'm doing machines for one area plus the cardio (jogging or eliptical). Like I said I've been disciplined and going every day, but I'm getting discouraged because I don't see my body changing.. I realize its only been a month but I am at it every single day, shouldn't I be seeing some results? My diet is healthy too, I have low blood sugar so I eat tons of protein.
Avatar f tn I run for 30-40 minutes, do a 30 minute circuit training and then do 20-30 minutes of stretching and crunches. At my last annual gyn exam my doctor told me I am 20 lbs overweight. When I explained to him what I have been doing he said there was no reason I shouldn't be losing weight. He checked my thyroid and it was fine. He started me on phentermine. I have now been on the drug for 2 weeks and have not lost any weight. Plus I find it hard to eat 1400 calories a day on the medication.
Avatar f tn Can anyone recommend a good workout plan? My last pregnancy I gained 72 lbs and I am not wanting to do that again. Just wanting and healthy routine to help manage my weight so I don't go overboard again.
