zantac need for speed

but im thinking of trying zantac for her the least doisage possible just to cjeck if it will reduce the spitting and the crankiness after feeds, but i also don't want her tummy to get used to it since my self i have been on omeprazole for years and can't live without it.. it's only during my pregnancy that I have changed to zantac and in severe cases pariet or lanzor.

My doctor is telling me to give my 7 year old Zantac for a kidney infection, but I can't find any information on whether or not this is a proper treatment- I just want to be sure??

I haven't taken a zantac today and my burning subsided a bit. I'm still very nauseated and feel like I have something warm and a slight burn in my throat. I got prevacid to start trying to see if that will give me more relief. I also feel as though sometimes I have too much saliva in my mouth. I'm assuming this can all probably be chalked up to acid reflux? Hopefully the prevacid helps.

Tums are good for mild relief quickly but Zantac will last longer. Both can be taken safely during pregnancy but check with your doctor first as every pregnancy and person is different. Zantac can be taken twice a day and Tums as needed. Also lying on your left side promotes digestion will help decrease acid quicker and personally when all that fails I find that chewing gum helps. The increased swallowing of saliva keeps the acid down, neutralizes, it and also helps speed up digestion.

Has anyone taken zantac during pregnancy for heartburn? I'm 22+5 and have heartburn almost every other day. Sometimes it's so bad that I just want to sleep so i don't feel it.

I have a drs appt coming up what are some medications other moms are on that prescribed to you by your Dr. I need something stronger so I would like to have some ideas before my appt so I can talk to my Dr with. I ran out of the 75 mg of zantac but I have equate 150 mg its the same thing as zantac but just the.generic brand. Is it ok to take that?

She was also diagnosed with Motility disorder( her digestive tract does not function at the proper speed) and takes a drug called Domperidone for that. Does your daughter refuse to eat breakfast or wants it hours after getting up? That is common with people with reflux problems. Definately watch how late at night she eats. If pediasure is what she wants right now, let her drink that. If you don't find the Zantac is working, go back. Has she had an upper GI to confirm Gerd?

Does anyone know if you can take Zantac 75 during your first trimester for heartburn? I took it with my first pregnancy, but it was a lot later in the pregnancy. I am dying here, and need a fix.

By taking a medication off prescription and making it OTC the NHS saves money and the pharmaceutical company make more money because presumably more people will by it when they don't need a prescription. The reason you think Rannitidine is less effective is because the placebo effect has been removed.In fact both drugs are equally effective. Otherwise the generic version would not have been licenced.

ve been on zantac (150 twice a day) for a couple of months now. Milk will only sooth my throat for a few minutes... I could drink a gallon a day! The problem is that it is 6:30 am here and I feel like I am dying! I wake up with heartburn, the first pill wears off and then the heartburn is back in the middle of the day, then the second pill wears off and I again feel like I'm dying while trying to fall asleep!!

My daughter kept aspirating so they had to thickenher milk by adding rice cereal to her formula and also giving her zantac. Zantac works well for acid reflux she's able to eat without spitting up. Everything will be fine .

Yeah its not pleasant at all when you first take it but I'm 39 weeks and having my baby in a couple days so I'm not going to buy any more meds for that! I used to take zantac 150mg and it works wonders if you'd like to try that!

I am definitely going to talk to my midwife about it and see what she says. For now, I will look for that juice and see if that works at all and try eating smaller meals. I definitely can't eat much these days anyway as everything is being squished up already. I am almost 22 weeks but this is the first pregnancy where my belly is high and the earliest reflux has started.

This lasted for approx 2 weeks straight! I tried warm turkey, milk and meltonin for natural sedatives but was finally put on Ativan for 2 days slept for 2 days and work up a new person! Your nose if that was your method will continue to flare up with colds but of you can beat this demon kudos to u!
