I believe it started with my toes, where the first layer of skin started just peeling off on the sides and bottom, eventually I started spotting small circles on my hands. The spots on my feet are almost completely healed. But my hands I cannot tell whether they are getting better. the circles all eventually spread from palms, to sides of fingers, and the small circles would get bigger, and eventually connect to other circles until theres a big spot of skin missing.
I would be greatful if you could help me the skin on my hands and feet are peeling The same thing happened around the same time last year.

Typical symptoms of lichen planus include a skin rash that is itchy and skin changes. Instead of trying any medicines over the counter, you have to get it evaluated from a dermatologist or pediatrician first. Hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Hi i am currently experiencing skin peeling. The skin on the palms of my hands and finger have completely peeled off and now my feet are starting. With my hand it started under the nail the down the fingers it then started on on my palms. it seems to start where most friction and use occurs. They are now red raw. I was recently sick with a virus and became very dehydrated and needed 3 ltrs of fluids intravenus. Since then i have recovered somewhat.

as the 3rd layer of skin began to peel ,my wife noticed one knee peeling or actually encapsulated in a whitish skin, I peeled this off the way you would do a bandage, underneath was new skin. as days gone by the other knee has a very small area beginning to dry and peel. Im someone who never gets sick. I never have any issues. now at 48 this begins...I have seen my doctor, he said that it may be psoriasis, he really doesn't think so because of the lack of blood at the peel area's...
I am a 22 year old male and i am facing the problem of peeling skin since the past 3-4 years. This phenomenon takes place at the center of the right thumb. It starts with an itching(feels like something is there beneath the skin), then the area becomes numb and later dead skin forms and peels off. The whole cycle is of about 5-6 months. A few days back it has started in the same place of my left thumb. I visited a doctor but at that time the skin had peeled off and it looked perfectly normal.
When I peel them the skin easily comes off in small sheets. There is no redness, no pain, no itching, just alot of peeling skin. I had this condition last summer, but dissapeared in the winter, and has now shown up again even though it is not really hot yet. It happens on my palsm and fingers but not on the back side of my hands. Please help me and tell me what this condition is, even though there is no pain, it is very unsightly.
I am trying to figure out why my skin is peeling of my fingers. It started a week ago with something that looked like a boil that had dried up the skin became white and it came off. This has happended to me before but, this time the skin continued to peel it has now spread to both my hands and several fingers (6 total, for now) Also it has not spread to palms yet, just around nails and half way down finger. I have no idea what is causing this or what I should even do.
Just at the base of my penis, right around where the hair is growing (and in it to an extent) i've got this really painful sort of rash-type symptom, it appears as a rash, but then the skin seems to go dry if it's knocked or stretched etc. and then peels, it starts off dry-ish but does go very soft and the "rash" weeps slightly.
The wierd thing was that all of the skin that had been affected peeled off, again like a sunburn. The peeling of his hands was especially disgusting. The skin came off in thick pieces. My husband commented that his finger skin came off like sausage casings. His feet were unaffected. At this point he was feeling fine, eating well, sleeping well, no fever, no other symptoms. Except for slight rawness on the palm of one hand, the new skin looked great.
So I had a night regiment to use my cleanser and my moisturizer with the vitamin E oil before bed...I'd wake up with just skin peeling in between my eyes and around my nose and mouth. My face would burn from the scrubbing it with my face towel...I tried to not scrub so much because it left my skin red and raw but now my face is shiny from being scrubbed...
I woke up one morning in my hotel to find a few strange red & itchy bumps & LARGE circular, dark, dry & peeling spots all over my body. The larger spots are on my breast. I thought maybe my skin was dry & paid no attention to it. A few days later they got 10x much worst, I immediately checked out of my hotel. Since I checked out of the hotel they Have NOT gotten worst but they certainly haven't gotten any better..
