Thank you for your comments. I am waiting for an appointment with a dermatolgist but in the meantime I "googled" pityriasis rosea and reviewed the photos and my red dots look nothing like this. The red dots I have on my skin are tiny in size and are sporadic, not clustered. As the time continues to pass, I am seeing more and more dots but again, they are coming up here and there and not bunched together. It's quite strange.

They are not pimples or bumps as the surface of my skin is smooth. The red dots look like blood dots under my skin. They usually appear when I am very stressed or having elevated levels of anxiety. Sometimes I notice them appear right after I have had a rash over that area. I do break out in rashes when I'm very stressed and having racing thoughts. I also get dizzy and lightheaded during these stressful periods as well.

About 2 months ago after having unprotected sex i noticed about a week later i had little red dots when i pulled back my foreskin. There werent any on the shaft or the head just little ones between the head and the pulled back foreskin part. As i was concerned i saw my GP where i was told it wasnt an std and it didnt look like herpies, which later on the screen test i had proved it wasnt. However after having sex again a month later the same problem came back lasting a few days then disapering.

I have little red dots on my feet and shortly after I noticed them, then I had patches of skin peeling. I now have the peeling skin on my hands but haven't noticed any red dots on my hands. The peeling skin - it peels several layers of skin in the small spots.

I woke up this morning with a pinkish-red rash on my whole body. My arms, stomach, lower back, thighs, hips.... Its itches a little on places like the inside of my elbow and where my bra is rubbing under my arm pit.... but generally it doesnt itch. In some spots it looks like red pin dots but also blotchy..... They should go away in a few days. But if they persist then please consult a physician and get other causes ruled out which include allergic reaction, autoimmune diseases, thrombocytopenia, ITP or leukemias. Also try taking iron tablets and multivitamins for some days and see if the symptoms improve.

I also have little red bumps popping up on my skin. They are on my arms, legs, and belly. Like Tommy (the original question I found, same situation, they are too small to be mosquito bites, and I don't lay in the grass to get chiggers.
