These abnormal cells are found in Leukemia. Also rash and neck swelling are compatible with Leukemia.
Although I believe there can be other causes for that, so do not rush for diagnosis. The good sign is that his WBC are high not low, that is the opposite to Leukemia and therefore I don't think that bone marrow biopsy is the priority, it is also an invasive test. Also he should have been feeling very weak, with pallor, low hemoglobin and platelets! None of that I reckon.

The redness and itchiness was gone however the skin where it had been still felt slightly raised, just now skin tone. well the symptoms you describe are typically related to leukemia or lymphoma but you should have a biopsy to be sure

I have what I thought might be dry skin patches on my leg but having looked closer, they're more like small red bruises (about 1 cm in size)...there's four. I was going to wait a while longer to see whether they go but I think they might be Purpura and apparently you should get those checked out asap - can anyone tell me what they might be?
