Normally a Turner syndrome (only effects girls
) is missing an X or if mosaic, those deformed cells are missing an X.
The net result for
my daughter so far has been short stature. So far she is still growing but well below the standard curve. The geneticist so far has not insisted upon growth hormones.
But, now a new complications. Seems she has tested positive for autoimmunity of the thyroid.
My geneticist frankly says that eventually the autoimmune disease will destroy her thyroid.
