fingernails painted

I'm a ftm! I'm 35 weeks,will have my baby girl any dayfriend friend of mine said to make sure when I go into labor my toes are done. Which really isn't a big deal but the massages do help my swelling. Any way on the other hand ive heard it isn't a good idea to have your toes painted due to the hospital rules. Is this true?

I know this sounds like a silly question but itreated myself to a predicure today and had my nails painted so that at least some part of me would look nice for the birth of my little one. Anyway i was then told later when telling a friend of my relaxing afternoon that they make you take any nail polish off when having a c-section as it is one way they check for cirulation etc - by looking at your toenails. Is this true? Anyone ever heard of this or had it happen to them?

So i showerd, colored my hair, whitened the teeth, tanned and got my nails and piggies painted. i feel like me again-but treading cautiously. thank you everyone so much for all the support and words of encouragement. this site helps!!!!

Is it true that you can't have painted fingernails for your c section? Im reading online and alot of women were saying that you cant have any on lol... thank you!

About a week ago I went to the nail salon to get my fingernails painted! I did not get a pedicure, so there were no tools used on me other than a non-metal, emery board/nail file. When the lady was getting started on my toes, the nail file she used sliced two deep cuts onto two of my toes! Deep enough for them to bleed, and I could easily see how deep the cut was. I saw blood on the nail file, but I was unsure whether or not it was mine.

I have been noted to have domed fingernails but not apparently 'clubbed' They have been like this as long as I can remember What might cause domed nails but not clubbed. ???

The doctor says my thyroid hormone levels fluctuates as do my symptoms. My fingernails are the worst and I am so very tired and weak. They are very soft and thin with ridges. I thought the synthyroid was supposed to help with these issues. I knew about the thinning hair, which I am experiencing to a much, MUCH worse degree than I expected (but hey, it's summer!! ) But I have never read anything about tx affecting your fingernails. It only makes sense, as they are both made of the same thing - but has anyone else had this problem? Mine are awful! They are like paper, thin, peeling, and constantly ripping, even though they are cut completely short.

Anyone have terrible fingernails with their VDD? I ask because for the past few years my nails have been very blah, the minute they start to grow they just split and peel. Now, I have noticed being on the VD for the past few weeks/months my nails finally seem to be growing slowly and not splitting or peeling, yet anyhow.

Hey there, girl.....I don't know. It sounds terrible. When I was getting chemo, I had an eruption of psoriasis and I lost my toenails and they aren't coming back....chemo ended 5 years ago. I hurt my toes all the time; but I know it would be much worse if it was my finger nails. I wish I could offer some help. Maybe someone will come along and know something helpful. Have you spoken to your doc or your chemo team about this? That's a good place to start.

She needs to feel like your on her side, you want her to get those marbles. If she scratches in school, cut the fingernails back to stubs, and/or let her have her nails painted at a nail shop. Tell her only girls who don't hit can have their nails painted at a real nail shop. Make her proud of her hands. Then tell her again that she can't hit or scratch with pretty nails or it's coming off. Make her repeat it back to your what will happen.

t do too much, the little ones get scared, but super red lips, big fake eyelashes (and they sell great ones for witches -- all kinds of crazy to pick from!) and dark green eyeshadow. green fingernails! i do a long black wig, medium length dress with orange and black stripe stockings, and hat. i think it is so fun when the adults get into it, and as long as its not too scary, the kids absolutely love it! have fun!

If HIV fluid got under your fingernails from hand-genital contact, does the virus die immediately while underneath the fingernails? My understanding is that the virus is damaged/non infectious immediately when fluids are transferred onto the hands no matter if its under the fingernails or any other part of the hand. I painted my daughters room when pregnant with her and painted my living room this time and need to paint my bedroom. It's totally fine. I have a month left and have never been told its not ok. Keep the windows open and a fan going and you will be fine.

I painted letters for her name and did a real cute project on pinterest.. I got a wood picture frame, took the glass and everything out then painted it to match her letters. After it dried I bought some cute wide ribbon and put strips of it where the grass used to be then put little hooks along the bottom of the frame.
