I have something weird going on with my left side. The other day, I was stretching out my back by placing a pillow behind my shoulder blades (I have a history of slight scoliosis.) I was resting my hands on my lower ribs, when I noticed that the left lower ribs were a bit sore. Upon further investigation, I discovered a concave dent! I don't remember this being here! is there something seriously wrong woth me?

Although a certain degree of minimification is normal with minus/concave glasses, It shouldn't be as obvious as your describing with a minus 2 perscription. It is possible that your perscription has been overminused (too strong for your eyes). If you are under the age of 35, you may want to consider a recheck of your glass percription with the doctor starting on the plus side of the spectrum and give you the minimum minus perscription you will tolerate.

I have been noted to have domed fingernails but not apparently 'clubbed' They have been like this as long as I can remember What might cause domed nails but not clubbed. ???

The doctor says my thyroid hormone levels fluctuates as do my symptoms. My fingernails are the worst and I am so very tired and weak. They are very soft and thin with ridges. I thought the synthyroid was supposed to help with these issues. I knew about the thinning hair, which I am experiencing to a much, MUCH worse degree than I expected (but hey, it's summer!! ) But I have never read anything about tx affecting your fingernails. It only makes sense, as they are both made of the same thing - but has anyone else had this problem? Mine are awful! They are like paper, thin, peeling, and constantly ripping, even though they are cut completely short.

Anyone have terrible fingernails with their VDD? I ask because for the past few years my nails have been very blah, the minute they start to grow they just split and peel. Now, I have noticed being on the VD for the past few weeks/months my nails finally seem to be growing slowly and not splitting or peeling, yet anyhow.

Hey there, girl.....I don't know. It sounds terrible. When I was getting chemo, I had an eruption of psoriasis and I lost my toenails and they aren't coming back....chemo ended 5 years ago. I hurt my toes all the time; but I know it would be much worse if it was my finger nails. I wish I could offer some help. Maybe someone will come along and know something helpful. Have you spoken to your doc or your chemo team about this? That's a good place to start.

120mg daily (liquid I divide am/pm @ 60mg). I’ve also been taking Wellbutrin 75mg bid. Interested in Concave for weight loss and help with energy, but noticed interactions. Belviq better?

For the past several months I've become aware that my left nostril is blocked compared to my right, not due to any mucous buildup but rather the septum looks enlarged or swollen. It's very red, and it's blocking the nasal passage so that it's like breathing through a (smaller) straw. I also sometimes feel pressure on that side of my nose, not pain just a feeling of pressure. I've been waiting for months to see an ENT but of course it's very backed up.

If HIV fluid got under your fingernails from hand-genital contact, does the virus die immediately while underneath the fingernails? My understanding is that the virus is damaged/non infectious immediately when fluids are transferred onto the hands no matter if its under the fingernails or any other part of the hand. Hi, please tell me what can have caused my fingernails to get purple/bluish after one day of running much more than I was used, on July 14th. Since then, my fingernails stayed purple/bluish. I have gone through EKG, echo, xray, CT scan, blood work and spirometry test, all came back normal. What other tests can I take?

Is there any chance that your chest bone is a bit concave?? The reason I mention this is because my son has a concave chest bone and the doc said to keep this in mind because on x-rays his heart would appear to be enlarged from it and to let doctors know.. Although on my son it's very noticeable so I'd imagine they'd realize it themselves.. Anyway, I just thought I'd throw that out there as a possibility.

I'm certainly not an expert, but I thought I'd throw this out there.. My son has a concave chest bone, it's actually quite pronounced. I am taking 400 mg of stool softner and miralax per day to try and soften things up as the doctor told me this should help the situation. I have a recessed stoma, it does not poke out.
