Bump eyeball

Common Questions and Answers about Bump eyeball

lump

Then yesterday when looking in the mirror for an eyelash or something, I found a small red bump on my eyeball, not the lid. To see it, I had to spread open my eyelids and look straight ahead while turning my head to the left. It's in the inner part, closer to my nose. And the area that is usually a healthy light-pink color where all the little capillary things are is bright red. Can someone advise on what this might be or anything I can do to alleviate some of the irritation? Thanks.
my mom noticed a small bump on her left eyeball under the top eyelid, it is defintely on the eyeball, she said it is a little sore to the touch, and other than chronic dry eyes she hasnt noticed anything different other than has a hard time opening that eye in the morning after she first wakes up, I am very concerned and have insisted she goes to the opthomologist tomorrow, i just was curious what this could be...just need my mind to be at ease...
I have found a bump on my eyeball right next to pupil. I have some redness next to the bump, and today it started to hurt. What should I look into doing?
I have a white bump on my eyeball (not eyelid), eye ball is red around the bump. No puss or yellow film. Just a small pen point size bump that started about a week ago.
So basically, there's this small bump on my eyeBALL(at least I'm pretty sure it's on my eyeball, not eyelid), and does anyone know what's happening? I think I might be overreacting, but I feel like I'm in denial that anything could be wrong, so unless it's still there a week from now, or I start feeling pain or something, I won't say anything to my parents. Please help me!! Thank you for any help!!

my grandson has a bump that looks kinda like a blister on his eyeball (not eyelid) and the eye is very red
I have continued to experience a sensation similar to having something in my eye, and when I used the magnifying glass to look at my eyeball, I noticed a small white bump directly on the eyeball. I have been trying not to rub my eyes, but know I have done so inadvertently. Is this bump something to be concerned about, and what might be the reasons for its appearance? I have never experienced this before. Thank you for any information you might have.
Turns out it is a tiny little bump in the white part my eyeball. It has no color and they only way I can see it is if I look over to the right really close to the mirror. It does not move. I tried to kinda gently "scrape" it off but it won't move. It doesn't hurt, but it is annoying the **** out of me. I have never had eye problems. I do not wear glasses. I am freaking out, is it going to get bigger?

I have a big bump now on my eyeball. I am 45 years old, it appeared as a small bump about 26 years ago and grow at non-uniform rate. It didn't bother me for a while, but esthetics issue. A doctor that I went to see suggested that it is a kind of scar of an early operation I did as a child, strabismus surgery. He offered that during the years the material inside the eyeball is pressed to the scar and starts leaking and this is the bump that we see. I can send a picture.
Hi My 2 year old son has developed a white lump on his eyeball (maybe could have been caused by one of his toy cars). I took him to the paediatrician who said it was conjunctivitis and gave him some eye drops. But a week later and the redness and lump are still there and I'm not convinced that it is (just) conjunctivitis.
im feeling a hard small bump on top of me left eyeball ( very sure is on the eyeball not on the eyelid ) it feels a bit sored i dont know if i had this for a long time, im worried this could be cancer or something serious any advices?. please help im worried.
There was also a small clear ball (almost like a blister, but clear, no yellowness) sort of half on the white and half on the blue of his eye, pretty much right on the border line. The bump has grown since and has become more like a line around the outside of the blue part of his eye. It is still like a border between the white and blue parts, but has spread around maybe a 1/4 of the iris. He woke up yesterday morning with a small ball on the other eye.
I suspect you mean a bump on the white of the eye. It would statistically be most likely to be a pinguecula that has become irritated. Other possibilities include a foreign object or a corneal ulcer both of which can be very dangerous. It is very important for her to see an ophthalmologist right away since she could have a very serious problem.
Hi. My 9mo old baby boy has a slightly raised white blemish on his eyeball under the eyelid. He rubs his eyes when he's tired, but he rubs the eye with the "spot" more. It's not a pimple-like bump. It almost looks like something got on the eye and didn't get off and the eye formed a protective "crust" to protect itself. I'm wondering if it's a cataract bcuz it's not actually on the lens, but under the eyelid. When he's looking at you, you can't tell it's there.
my 7 months baby got a bump on his eyeball (not on the lead) it is glassy kind of bump i noticed today...
I went to the doctoer I had an abraison on my eyeball it was really red and painful, now its getting better with antibiotic eyedrops, but there is a small bump threre that concerns me. Just wondering if its anything I need to worry about.
I have a white bump under my top eyelid. It is not next to the eyelid and irritates my eyeball when i blink. Right over the top of it is like a red small vein looking thing on top of the eyelid.
i have a bump like growth or something on the white part of my eye toward the inside surrounded by blood shot eyes. i have a lot of pressure on that eye. now today it looks like my other eye has it to i do not have presure on the other eye and that one is not blood shot. it is actually on my eyeball itself. it just makes me nervous because its been like this for a week and not going away. its in the same spot where it used to be yellow which it is not now.
I have a bump under my left eyebrow, under the skin, and have had it for a while (a year or so). It kind of moves around a bit if I feel it. It got bigger, but I didn't really worry about it, having read it sounds like a common thing. But today it changed - I felt a pressure on my the top of my eye, between the socket and eyeball, like it was getting pressed down.
Hello, I have this white bump undernieth my eyelid not anywhere near the lash line, more to the side of my left eye under the lid. It is right next to my eyeball way in the back. It is not a stye, I have had those before and it is nothing like that. It is very sore and slightly swollen, but not visable unless you flip the lid and look under. I have researched some things and it doesn't seem to be anything that i have been looking up...

Hi! Well, a bump on the eyeball can be a corneal ulcer, a Pinguecula or a Pterygium. These are bumps specific to eye and need to be check by an eye specialist.Inflammation of inner structures of eye like iritis and uveitis are other possibilities. Corneal ulcer, iritis and uveitis also increase sensitivity to light. Hope this helps. Take care! The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you.
My 12 year old daughter first discovered a tiny red raised dot on the fleshy corner next to her eyeball. The corner near the nose. Before telling me she scratched it with her nail trying to remove it but was too painful so left it alone. Weeks later, noticed it has increased to a pimple size with a little pus. After using Fucithalmic eye drops the pus clears. But the bright red bump is still there. I am afraid it is still growing bigger..
I googled stye and they are on the lids. This is on the outer white part of my left eyeball. Can I get a stye on my eyeball?
