I have tonsillitis. Also have a lump in front of neck on right side that has been there for 2 and a half months and have the sensation like something is stuck in my throat and a ticking sensation as well as thyroid nodules. My Ent specialist said it just a deep tonsil and looked at my throat and saw a red lump. I am freaking out I hope it is not anything serious.
i woke up this morning with a pain at the top of my leg front facing, where you leg meets your hip and bends, when i touch the area it feels like a bruise or if i have banged it but there is no visible sign there. When i gently press the area it is very tender and i can feel a lump there that moves slightly when i touch around it, kind of how a glad in your neck would. What could be the cause of this could it be something to do with my ovaries?
Last week I found a pea sized, soft, movable lump under the skin of my neck (near the front center of my throat and its located just under the start of my jaw [at the very top of my throat]). A day or so after finding the lump, I ate dinner and started to feel like something was stuck in my throat. I believe originally the sensation was towards the bottom of my throat, now every now and then (generally after I eat) I get the feeling and it appears to be higher up now (not sure about this).
It all started about three months ago with a feeling of a lump in my throat. Not an actual lump, but the feeling of one, right below where my adam's apple would be (I'm female though). I'd feel it on and off through the day, sometimes not so bad, and sometimes very noticeable. When I eat or drink anything it gets better though, the feeling of the lump goes away.
(I am seeing a military doctor overseas and they advised I get it looked at once I am back in the states, so maybe the scan was limited)
Any advice or an idea as to what could be growing on my knee?
hi a few years ago when I was working as a bouncer i was bottled from behind and then the guy who attacked me got me in a front headlock(back of my head was on his chest) and he wrenched my neck since then I've had issues with the back of my neck when it goes I get a pressure at the front of my neck just below my Adams Apple like someone is pressing on it which causes a sickly feeling/lump feeling so I be concerned about this or not
I was born with a small lump toward the lower end of my neck in the front. it doesnt cause me any pain but i am constantly asked if it is related to thyroid or fibromitosis. Both of these terms scare me, i guess my question is that over the last two years its almost tripled in size. I am starting to worry. I have no insurance and am low income. not long i noticed a swollen lymph near the place this lump was,the lump also vanished but the lymph node is still there,another lump appeared on the right side of my neck and the area close to that lump also swelled but not as big as the lymph node on the left side,now i have some tiny spots like rashes on my penis and a lump appeared at the left side of my leg in between the area close to my thigh and scrotum,white fluid come out of it,and since then being feeling pains there,am feeling pains
Yes, you should be seen by a doctor. I'm assuming it's in the front of your neck, and my first thought was lymph nodes. I understand you're scared, but guessing about it won't fix whatever the problem is and if it IS something serious early treatment often can completely cure the problem. The longer you wait the more it can fester and get worse.
However, I felt a small lump on my neck on the front right side and decided it was time. After having my right side swell for no known reason, I was more inclined to address weird swelling. I couldn't tell if my doctor could feel the lump at the time, because it was rather small- but my main concern was feeling so out of it. She ran blood work again and set me up with an ultrasound appointment.
I'm a 16 year old female. I have what feels to be a 3 in. lump under the muscle of the right side of my neck that's been present for 2 years. It's in the middle of the side of my neck and slowly growing to the front of my neck. Doctors did an ultrasound plus blood work and saw nothing abnormal and said it's just me growing. There's no pain but it's uncomfortable and causes pressure on the inside my neck. Do you think it is from growing or something else?
I guess best way to describe the feeling of it would be the feeling of a fatty tumor. But its on the left side of the back of my neck, and from time to time i feel my neck tilting to the left side, (a problem i had corrected when i was real young.) This lump is also right underneath my hair line, i have a low hair line in the back so from the back of me it almost looks like i have no neck.

The AACE recommends to do the thyroid neck check in this case:
Hold the mirror so that you can see the area of your neck just below the Adam's apple and right above the collarbone. This is the general location of your thyroid gland.
Tip your head back, while keeping this view of your neck and thyroid area in your mirror.
Take a drink of water and swallow.
As you swallow, look at your neck.
6 years ago I had a biopsy, and ultrasound and an MRI scan following finding a lump at the front of my neck in my thyroid. All scans showed nothing and the biopsy was clear. I was discharged following a second opinion consultation. I went to the GP with a small lump at the top of my throat. I was sent for an ultrasound today the doctor wasn't really concerned by the very small lump saying it was a lymph node but said my thyroid was quite enlarged and mottled in appearance.
could it be a thyroid issue? Its like little ball type of lump and it doesnt give me pain. Someone told me it could be my glands swollen. But I havent had any trouble swallowing food. I also have pink eye. Not sure if there can be a connection. I'm just using visine for the pink eye. Any help or suggestions you can give me would be great.

I also feel as if i have a lump at base of neck all the time not only when I swallow. i had a blood test and the doctor said i did not have an infection as my white blood cell count is ok. i am waiting to go in for a ct scan but ia a bit anxious as i had cancer 7 years ago .
