For the last few years I've struggled with constant heartburn and gerd. I've had to go to the E.R. at 4 in the morning because I inhaled stomach acid in my sleep. I started taking tums, then Zantac 75, then Zantac 150, then pentoprazole. I couldn't keep paying 90 bucks a refil, so I ended up having to take between 5 and 8 of the Zantac 150 every day to keep it under control.
Now it seems I have a new symptom.

After taking Celebrex about 6 years ago, I gradually started developing heartburn & reflux. It got so bad that I couldn't eat anything but saltine crackers and I lost 20 pounds over about a 2 month period. To go along with this, I would have episodes of tachycardia (heart rate 130 - 140) & difficulty breathing. The episodes of tachycardia & dyspnea seemed to be associated with stomach bloating & nausea.

My daughter has been having similar symptoms for the past 10 years on and off and has been tested for the cyst, had endoscopies and scans and tried meds and still has the same symptoms with diahrea pain bloating,. is it possible to inherit the symptoms and not have the cyst? Or did we miss something on the scans and scope studies she had.
My question is how to relieve gas, pressure and bloating? I know about watching your diet and what you eat and drink, I have even tried drinking baking soda water. I am extremely uncomfortable, any opinions?
The day before I had eaten some Chinese food and become bloated the day I had gone to the beach. While I was at the beach I had that strange bloating feeling following me so I ate less. After that I went swimming. Half an hour later I was feeling horrible, I kept needing to go to the washroom and I felt nauseous. I got home without throwing up. For the next 2 days I was perfectly fine besides the minor constipation ( feeling like i need to go washroom but stool just won't come out).
I'm 42 and 18 w. Most every time I eat after about 20 min I feel a bloating sensation. Almost like gut rot. My stomach gets hard and looks bigger and I'm very uncomfortable. Any one else get this?
I am currently 24 days cold turkey from tramadol. I have the mose severe stomach bloating. Is there any relief to this terrible side effect, ( i can manage all the other one) but I am so uncompfortable even with just liquids.... any suggestions?
A couple of months ago I started experiencing stomach bloating(often painful), inconsistent bowel movements and acid reflux. At times it feels like extreme gas, pressure, and bloating. Worse after I eat..but hurts all the time. My bowel habits have changed...sometimes go up to two times a day..usually I am lucky if I go 1 time in three weeks. I am not sure what is going on...thinking gall bladder or ulcer. I have no health insurance so I usually put pain off until I can't handle it any longer. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

This has been ongoing since Saturday evening September 3rd til now September 5th. (over 2 days). Taking antacid (equate maximum strength) does not help the issue I am having.

i take accephix when i take this medicine during this time ,i feel better .sometimes i take zantac but it does not help me.also when i having this problem as a cure , i have to burp the whole day and then, slowly my palpitations are gone.to get better i also take ginger ale. does anybody have this problem?

I started with Tums, Pepcid, Zantac and tried virtually every OTC antacid but it would come back. The first Gastroentrologist who ordered a battery of tests (including endoscopy) over a period of 1 year but concluded NOTHING. While I was under his care, I was on prilosec. I have also tried ALIGN ********* which gave me some relief. I was afraid to eat. My symptoms included heartburn and bloating.
feels sick after eating a small portion of food, abdominal pains, bloating, fatigue, feels nause without vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach growls alot, she gets hungry and loses her appetite. Any ideas as to what this could be.
m on synthroid and just recently (3 days ago) switched from Zantac twice a day to Prilosec once a day. The fluid retention has been off and on but most recently it seems to be getting worse. The only thing that helps is to drink a million glasses of water a day and spend my life in the restroom. What could be causing this? Those are the only meds I take and I don't eat much sodium.
