Drink 2% milk and avoid all kind of spicy foods thats what I do no hots drinks at night (coffee, tea) it's getting worse

Can you please tell me if you can take Nexium 40mg. and Zantac 75mg. together or on the same day. My GI doctor has me on Nexium 40mg. and my PCP wants me to take Zantac 75mg. at night before I go to bed. Is it safe, and can I take it with Xanax 1mg. I have GERDS and Barrett's Esophagus. And they both think it mjght be causing these little pinpoint pimples in my mouth, tongue, and throat.
t zantac but it is the same ingredient you drop it in a half cup water and it foams up and you quickly drink it. It is OTC. If zantac is safe this should be too. Thanks so much. Also i read that taking any antacid like tums and rolaids can have a reaction with the prozac. Is this true i was too scared to try Tums.
I would suggest to stop carbonated sodas, caffeine, alcohol, citrus, dairy, tomatoes, peppers and potatoes and gluten for 1 week. Then reintroduce only gluten products for a day or two and see how you feel. Continue your PPI during this time. If your symptoms come back it is gluten. If the symptoms do not come back then reintroduce another food. Keep a food diary on your intake and symptoms. If it is a food intolerance the symptoms may not start immediately after eating.
Go pick up zantac 150 or 75 mg. If 75 mg take 1 pill twice daily and then take tums as needed. Zantac should prevent the heartburn but if it doesnt work on occasion take tums (i normally take 4 extra strength tums or 2 ultra strength at a time)
I was prescribed zantac 75 mg twice a day with my first baby and told to take tums if for some reason zantac doesnt help so its perfectly safe!
Thanks Selma. Yes, I did the breath test and my 2 scopes revealed no h pylori. I've been taking the prescription 150 mg Zantac twice a day and for 3 nights slept with a wedge pillow and have felt great each day, no waking up with a sore throat! I eat small meals and always have, eating a small something every 2-3 hours and stop at 6pm. The main change is the wedge, which so far is a noticeable difference.
I am a 34 year old female and had my gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago. I had a low ejection fraction and was having attacks followed by constant heartburn. Post surgery I still have the constant heartburn. Nothing makes it better. I have tried, dexalant, prilosec, zantac, tagament. I just started yesterday with green stools. No diarrhea but softer bright green stools. The gall bladder attacks have subsided but I feel like I can't eat anything without being in pain from the heartburn.

Last week my brother passed away due to an undiagnosed heart condition, probably as the result of many years of drug and alcohol abuse, but the stress and d fear and worry combined with the idea that the ER doctors missed his condition that was fairly obvious cashed the original symptoms to come back.I went back to the zantac and the stomach issues are resolving but the palpitations have gotten worse. They started walking me up at night with flutters (maybe pvc) every other or every third beat.
I was put on Carafate, Protonix and Zantac which never really helped very much...eventually, I got better and gained the weight back but every few months I get a flare up where I get pain under left shoulder and left front abdomen, chest pain and some burning...I just had a stress test, a nuclear stress test, an echo and blood work....the cardiologist says everything looked great--perfect stress tests and excellent blood work so he says go back to gastro doctor which I did..
I got severe muscle cramps as side effects from that and went back to the urgent care and they gave me zantac instead. Still the same dosis of 2 /day. It all started end of June 2015. The dr eho prescribed zantac also mentioned it could come from the gallbladder but there would be no test to confirm that now (super weird reading all about it now). In September 2015 I had an egd done and the dr confirmed the gastritis. I had no ulcers and no bacterial infection.
