He was also working out at at gym and he lost his attractive physique. I am a healthy, slim weight to begin with. But I joined the gym to firm up and feel better with more energy, and more muscle definition. Let me tell you, I looked like hell after going to that gym 4x weekly. I looked like a big ugly thick brick.

362119 tn?1223141536 I have heard that pregnant women are not supposed to do a lot of leg exercises to try and build muscle (such as squats), as the more muscle accumulated in the hip/pelvic region can make for a more difficult birth..... Doing a workout routine (such as aerobics) which may involve the squatting motion and leg exercises is ok - just don't do it to build up your muscle like a body builder would.

Then I exercise once or twice more a week whenever I can. Unfortunately my backside seems to be as large as my belly now. My mobility is not very good, so my exercise level is nowhere near were it was pre-pregnant. However, I'm doing my best and trying not to get discouraged.

He tested my heart rate and its was over 200 (about 215) and my heart beat was irregular. we brought my heartrate down, but it was still irregular.
Avatar f tn The six week post is basically just to make sure that you are healing in the right direction. I've heard of women who were in the gym the next morning. It will probably depend on what your doc says and since they are miliitary docs, they will probably allow it.

So I see they called and text me so J call them and say I will be down.. Let me get decent. So I grab the pee stick and look at it while I am flying down the stairs to see them and I almost slid down the stairs on my arse. Haha!! It was positive. So I took 2 more.. Both positive.

Avatar n tn BUT I AM IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT,STEPS FROM THE ER.THEY HAVE ALL THE REAL EQUIPMENT A GYM HAS.YET THEIRS A NURSE THAT SITS IN THE GYM AT ALL TIMES,I CAN CALL HER OVER IF I FEEL SCARED AND SHE'LL CHECK MY PULSE,BP.I NOW DO 50 MINS. 3 DAYS A WEEK.IT HAS GIVEN ME STRENTGH AND PEACE OF MIND.THEY ACTUALLY KEEP A DEFIBULLATER IN THE GYM(YOU CAN'T GET MUCH SAFER THAN THAT.DESPITE OUR AGE DIFFERENCES I HAVE MADE WONDERFUL FRIENDS IN THE GYM.
Avatar n tn I thought i should mention that the episodes mainly happen at night. Is this the case for anybody else? Its like my body has to get rid of whatever its not agreeing (i.e. food/drink) with but even after going to the bathroom, it takes me about 2 hours to resume to normal, by this time, I'm exhausted and I have had heart palpatations. I do not drink much caffeine and i am thinking of cutting it out completely, i do not smoke and I have never taken drugs.

I have one I used to wear to the gym and it works. I also get a really sensitive scalp and that sems to have a pattern only I haven't remembered to write them down to figure it out and of course I can't remember a thing. Have you had any scalp sensitivity when you wash your hair/scalp? Good Luck, Jan.

393685 tn?1425816122 I tried everything I could think of for chronic constipation, none of the traditional paths work for women with POP-my POP has been fixed but the IBS issues will probably always be there because of high stress schedule. So many symptoms/health issues overlap; it is so difficult to do Kegels properly when you are "full of poop". (We should keep doing them anyway, when the poop clears the contraction is functional!
