My mouth has these really hurtful ulcers, my throat and toncils are painful and swollen and my neck glands are so painful. I went to the doctor and was neg. for strep. I got some antibiotics and some viral medicine but it hasnt been getting any better. all i have been able to eat is jello and popcicles. How long did it take to go away? what did you take or do?

I suffered from very bad acid reflux for a long time and was on Omeprazole for 8 weeks just prior to this. Since coming off the Omeprazole i don't get hardly any Acid reflux.
Also taking Pepsid. Throat neg for strep and mouth ulcers neg for Herpes. This helped for about 3 days but then the pain has come back. I have also gotten a few more ulcers to my tongue and some of my gums are swollen. I have lost 9 pounds since the start of this b/c of the pain to eat. Another symptom that I am thinking is related is that I have gotten a severe area of inflamation around my anus. Does hemorrhoids cause this??
Labs for ANA,B12,CBC,BMP,LFTs were all normal. CRP was 3.
In October of 2005, I had a "severely abnormal" type of small mole removed from my shoulder in a hospital. A few days later (a week or less), I started getting an ulcer or blister (I wasn't sure) on my throat. I thought I was getting sick. It was strange though because I came down with flu-like symptoms, but not till a few days after that. I went out with my current boyfriend for the first time during this time. I started getting a round blister on my throat.
week 8 i had an anti body test and was negative.But my lymph nodes are still swollen and burning pain.My throat is no longer sore but the tonsils are still there,my stool is still mush& heavy and having sharp abdominal pain and cramps.
Can the combination of antibiotics cause this or its just ARS? I did a PCR test but am scared of collecting my results.If its ARS can it last this long.And if JH antibiotic reaction/allegie can it also take ths long to clear.
This time I went to the doctor because the back of my throat also had ulcers. The doctor swabbed one of the ulcers and said she was gonna send it to be tested for herpes and for shingles. She said if they didnt call then the tests were negative. So I didn't get a call, the ulcers slowly went away, and I was relieved. However, in the past week and a bit the ulcers have been reappearing, and the glands in my neck are swollen and painful.
After 2 weeks from exposure, i had runny nose and mouth and throat ulcers. The runny nose have gone except the mouth and throat ulcers and thus feeling a sore throat.
I am really worried. Should the ulcers and sore throat be combined with a rash or fever to be a symptom of hiv??

Can ARS ALONE cause genital ulcers? I had multiple very painful genital ulcers with fever, chills, sore throat, etc.. I have had a throat fungus before but I do not think that is what this is, I do not think they are ulcers either since I have no pain. The places have not changed color nor do I think they have changed in size since I noticed them and I have no other symptoms.
I had a lot of problems with throat infections and ulcers about 12 years ago before I had my tonsils removed. Do you think this is scar tissue that has been there for years and I just noticed it? Do you have any idea what these are?

m not completely sure why but it starts with nausea and turns into full blown stomach pain and abdominal pain and a few times I had lower back pain to go with it. I've crossed out the thought of being pregnant because I've been on the pill and lately this stomach pain has been killing my sex life. And unfortunately I'm flat broke being a full time student that I cannot afford to see a doctor and I have a hard time getting $10-$20 to visit a local walk-in clinic. Any suggestions?

Back in December, I finally broke down and had an upper endoscopy done. I had been suffering with difficulty swallowing for nearly two years, but had been terrified of the endoscopy and convinced myself the trouble swallowing was anxiety related.
I was diagnosed with Grade 2 esophagitis and gastritis, as well as an esophageal ulcer and 2 stomach ulcers.
I asked a few day ago about a possible exposure (was too drunk to remember if I took condom of or not). I wasn't too worried about HIV until I got 2 mouth ulcers along with general cold/flu bug approx 3/4 weeks post-exposure an now my girlfriend also has flu at home (I am now away).
When I research about mouth ulcers inside mouth (canker sores) - just about every website describes them being as a symptom for Acute HIV!
s angina, I took it for 6 days and after a week after the last pill, while the ulcers look less bulky, the pain is the same or worse. The pain is constant, sometimes hardly noticeable and sometimes very debilitating. I have trouble swallowing, speaking and breathing in deep. I'm getting desperate for answers and it's seriously negatively impacting my quality of life. What could the problem be?

The next set of labs is for a hepatic panel, g6pd, and a repeat cmv (one previous test was negative). Throat was negative for herpes. Cultures for ebv and coxsackin on the throat never came back.
