Problems effecting the lips are often troublesome and indeed hard to diagnose. However, such problems are rarely caused by STD's of any sort. if this were herpes or syphillis or any other STD that could be aquired through the oral tract believe me you'd know about it from very visable indicators- not a swollen lip. Also these would not occur on a 'every few days' basis.
This most likely sounds like a foreign body infection - i.e. an allergic reaction.
It also popped and a very small amount of a white watery substance came out. It was mildy swollen immediately after it popped but my lip has since subsided back to normal. The lip even looks normal and doesn't look a cold sore or anything. Is this potentially an STD symptom? I've never had anything like it before and tested negative for all STDs a couple of weeks prior to this encounter.
I have a bit of a swollen lip which I wake up to, reduces during the day bit is still always there. It has been there now for about 4 weeks. when it first came, it was obviously visible and intermediate size, but now there is just the bump. I cannot find the problematic area, there is no discolouration of my lip in that area.
It is not noticeable unless I smile, even then it just looks like a bump in my top lip on the right hand side.
Hi the sore throat would not be hsv1 concern due to the area as sores would most likely be on the lips. the swollen node could be from a recent infection but without flu like symptoms and a lip sore developing shortly after i would rule herpes out.
Over the next few days that cut disappeared but my upper lip still felt a bit painful and swollen in the middle where the veins are. Yesterday the middle of my upper lip swelled a bit but today it is back to normal.

ok this is very important i've had this BUMP not bumps not plural at all. It's one single very tiny bump on my upper lip. in the pic it looks like a pimple with a whitehead but it doesn't. I tried poking it to see if there was anything in it like a blood blister because it's usually just a shade or so darker than my lip.
but i noticed this morning when i woke up that when i peed like it didnt hurt kinda burned not bad though and when i was sitting it felt really bad and it itched, also i went to go shave this morning i noticed that on my right side ( lip ) on the out side was swollen like really bad and i was wondering if some one has had the same problem as me?? or if some one might know what it is??
but they are mostly on my bottom lip. Then my gums started to swell and the left side of my tongue is slightly swollen and very sore.
I also have a sore throat and bad headaches. The doctors didnt find anything but im on antibiotics and Vicodin.

If you do have HSV-1 then you probably had it before this counter. Swollen lips aren't STD related.
but this morning my vagina area was itching really bad so i was scratching it. then i felt that my left lip was swolen really bad so i got a mirror and looked at it and it was really swollen and red. my right lip was fine. i dont kno whats wrong with it. i have had sex with my boyfriend many times so if this was an std wouldnt i already got it a long time ago? we have been having sex for a year and a half. help me plz!
I freaked out and examined and it looks like the tip is maybe swollen and the left lip is red and its red/pinkish inside the hole and stings if touched or even slightly rubbed. It stings when the to well brushes it also my boxers and pants its really annoying. Immediate onset of symptoms can never be due to infection -- thus no STD is a possible explanation of your lip burning etc. All infections require time for the causative bacteria, virus etc to invade the tissues, reproduce itself, and induce an inflammatory response by white blood cells, the immune system, etc. That process always requires at least 1-2 days, often several days or longer.
