Another side effect of one of the above medications is excessive sweating after exercise or manual activity, I have read that this is common and that it affects 5 - 20% of people on anti-depressants and that it has something to do with serotonin levels / inhibitors.....I am not sure Does any one else have this side effect or did you have this side effect and if you did you do about it, I mean is there an alternative to Cymbalta?

The problem is the Cymbalta was better with my depression but seems to increase my anxiety and cause me excessive sweating, esp in social situations. Does the sweating sound like a common side effect for SNRI?

Take methadone 60mgs at 9am every am, visterall 200mgs 9am,1pm,6pm. Propranolol 80mgs 9am and 9pm, Klonopin 2mgs only for panic attacks. About 11/2 weeks ago stopped clonodine 0.3mgs took a lot of them when I had them. So now I wake up and instantly start sweating and don't stop sweating until 10pm at night.

Certain Dri sounds alot like that Dictorol that i have already tried, the itchyness drove me bonkers and was too much to handle. I was also gave a talc which is for excessive sweating but that did nothing at all. Thanks again for your help!

Thanks for your response.. You're right about the weight change.. I've lost about 15lbs in the last few months and I'm trying to lose another 30lbs to return to the weight (200lbs) I was for years. I'm sweating more than previously also.. Even light DIY around the house makes me sweat more than I think I should.. Chest pains or shortness of breath when exercising? No.. neither of these are present. Hope this helps..

I am a 18 year old male. For my entire life I have never had any problems with excessive sweating. But a few weeks ago I started a new deodorant (Speed Stick gel). I had been using old spice gel before. And ever since then I have been sweating much much more. Until now I had never had sweat drip down my arms (except for long periods of physical exercise). But know when I am sitting in my house with a tee-shirt on I have sweat dripping down my arms.

It is true we all have different symptoms for an illness, however, all possible symptoms for heart failure have never listed sweating and nausea. ..it does for heart attack...why is that!? Can you please give us more information to better answer your question? Have you been diagnosed with anxiety, are you male or female? I'm asking that question because if you're a female there could be a hormonal imbalance or menopause. If you have anxiety that may be the cause of your sweating. Also, if you're on meds like and antidepressant sweating could be a possible side effect.

For about two years now I have been experiencing incredibly odd excessive sweating.
