Hi there, I have been on the Ava 30 contraception pill for about 5 months now and my doctor told me not to take the sugar pills and to skip my period until she tells me otherwise. It seemed to be working for the pain and helped but then 2 months ago I was at a very stressful time in my life and even though I haven't missed a pill I got my period. I have now been bleeding for 9 weeks and it is getting worse the pains are back and my doctor says to just wait it out.
What do I do?
My last period before this was in sep 09 and the bleeding was scanty ( this was also the 1st period after I delivered a baby in april 09).. My question is why is my bleeding not stopping completely on provera although its been 2 weeks i started taking them and the bleeding is moderate during the dayt and light during the night, I am soaking 2 to 3 pads per day .. Can I stop taking provera and start combination OC pills to stop the bleeding ? will it help me..
My period began 10.13.2k16 and ended on 10.18.2k16. I also began the pill on the 13th of October. I took the pill consistently for about two weeks then decided to stop because it wasn't for me. About 2 days later i began withdrawal bleeding. It lasted until the 31st of October. A total of 6 days. November- No signs of aunt flo. I'm having abnormal cravings and night sweats. Today my ptest was negative. Is it too soon??? What is going on with me??!!
It is possible that ou could be pregnant and this spotting is early pregnancy bleeding called implantation bleeding. After stopping pills it may take 2-3 months for your periods to regularize. This is merely an advice and not a substitute for clinical examination. Keep me posted with more queries.

Some days it’s light and some days it’s heavy. I don’t know if it’s my period or just withdrawal bleeding from that one Depo shot. On 2/5/18, I had sex for the first time since November while I was spotting lightly. We used a condom and it broke at some point and he kept going for like a minute and put another one on till he finished. He says he didn’t *** in me but I am not sure. My period has always been normal and regular but I didn't get my usual period this month. I spotted at the beginning of the month for about 1 week and then about 2 weeks later I got my period. I took 2 tablets of naproxen 500mg for the treatment of headache the day before my period started and haven't taken them again. The bleeding was normal for the first week but I continued to spot afterwards and now I'm on my third week of spotting.
I've had my period for 16 days now. Extremely heavy bleeding with very large clots. The blood has been bright red and does not show signs of stopping. I'm nauseous, .moody, and very tired. I've read that I could become anemic, any idea how to prevent that or even better, stop the bleeding? Thanks!
I took Trinessa for 7 days, was not on it before, was very nausea so stopped, experienced immediatly possible breakthrough bleeding for 12 long days, now 22 days later waiting on a period when will it come? Also had sex with boyfriend on and off the first 3 days on the pill, unprotected. I guess I am wanting to know when will my period start again and is there any chance of a pregnancy.
Could be your 'period' coming early since you suddenly stopped the pills. When you stop birth control you should always consult your doctor first to see when the safe time for the type of pill you are on would be to come off them. This would normally be after you finish one pack...you just don't start the new one after having the withdrawal bleed. Stopping the pill before finishing the pack, confuses you body and messes up your cycle and woudl result in bleeding or early 'period.
I believe Im having Implantation Bleeding for about 4 days, its not heavy like a period, mostly dark brown discharge early today it changed colors from brown to dark brown to dark red & now dark brown again the bleeding was very light & mostly came out only when I wiped & now its almost gone. I was on Lo Loestrin Fe for 10 months, and had to stop for 6 weeks because I had surgery and was required to take blood thinners. Hello, I am on birth control, I had sex May 27 then got my period on June 1st, it was regular & on time. I had a pap biopsy on June 13 and bled from that from the 13th-24th. I was on vacation during this time and forgot to take my birth control at exact times but did take it as soon as I remembered. I then had sex on July 1, he pulled out. I got my period on time July 6 but it was a little shorter than usual.
helo, am having abdominal pains since i started my periods which i think is normal but the periods are not stopping they became so light after completing my normal days which are 3 and i thought t would stop with in 1-3 days buh ts not stopping its a week now. i had my period for about 2 weeks, and after about a week it started again but it was drops of brown blood, which stops for about a day and starts again, this went on for about three weeks, the blood is now red but really thin, why isn't it stopping?
Hey all, just had a quick question and was hoping to get some insight, if possible. I stopped my birth control pills back in November of 2013. My periods were a little unpredictable this past year but seem like they are slowly getting back on track, just longer than they used to be.
My last period was from 7/20-8/4. I had very light spotting on 8/14 and 8/15 (barely needed a liner) and my boyfriend and I had also had unprotected sex on 8/14 and 8/16.
