My husband has a lump in his left breast tip(nipple area). There's pain when pressed too.. It's been a month now.. The lump is not growing but remains in the same size. what is the real reason? Is it serious?

Did he or she actually feel an abnormaility/lump in your right breast? The intermittant pain that you are feeling in your left armpit may be due to many reasons. Have you nicked a hair follicle after shaving your armpit? Have you had an infection/virus lately? This may also be muscular. All in all,,, again pain in the breast as a rule is not associated with breast cancer. I think you are worrying too much. Get that ultrasound and I bet everything will be ok.

I noticed mild breast pain yesterday but didn’t feel my breast heavy, I usually get tender breast before my period so It didn’t concern me that my left breast felt in pain. I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and noticed a small hard lump in my left breast about 2 months ago (underneath my areola towards the very bottom) it almost felt like a bb, firm, immobile, and was smooth shaped. Hi, If you haven’t noticed any abnormal features on breast self-examination like a breast lump, nipple discharge or skin changes, I would doubt that the pain you are describing is associated to breast cancer. The pain in your breast could be due to many benign causes like injury to the breast tissue, a pulled muscle, a pinched nerve, Costochondritis which is an inflammation of the cartilage that connects a rib to the breastbone and it could also be caused by an improper posture.

hey i am 19 yrs. old and have been observing a lump in my breast from atleast past 2-3 yrs. it is kind of stable in size and dos not pain at all.... Recently i have come across the facts of breast cancer and fibroadenoma. i am a bit reluctant to go for a checkup as it would cause anxiety at home...also through the info. about fibroadenoma i am positive that the lump is it....but still tell me..is there a possibility that i am suffering from cancer or even if it's a fibroadenoma..

I felt the lump in my right breast about two weeks after my surgery in the left. My left breast still has a big ( bigger lump) lump than before the surgery but the doc said that its just scar tissue and nothing to be worried about. the scar area is still numb but i am having a lot of pain radiating throughout both breast up to my underarm. what will happen during an MRI that the US wouldnt be able to pick up. This morning, as I do every month, I did a self breast exam b/c I was beginning to notice the my left breast was getting sore.........I found that seem to be a lump.
