Avatar f tn I'm used to working out every day..I used to do INSANITY and P90X but ever since I found out I'm pregnant, I've been nauseous and so exhausted that I've hardly worked out at all. I'm a couple weeks away from my 2nd trimester so I'm hoping to start working out again. Anyone on here working out while pregnant? What kinds of workouts are best?
4437866 tn?1388119624 I am still doing zumba twice a week and yoga as much as I can. It is helping me feel better this pregnancy than I have in my others. I love zumba! I just don't do all the jumping now. I did p90x after my last pregnancy and it worked wonders so I think I will do that again.
Avatar m tn I have had right side rib and chest pain for four months after P90x workouts. I am a healthy 27 year old male 6'3" 190 pounds. I have had x-rays, blood tests and an ultrasound but no MRI yet. I feel like it's most likely bad muscle tearing or other injury from the workouts as everything else came up negative.

Avatar m tn At the end of August I was continuing to do P90x workouts although not in great shape but good enough to keep up with them. I went bowling one night after I was already sore from a vigourous workouts throughout the week. Ever since then I have had moderate to severe pain underneath and behind my right rib cage and into my chest. It feels like a have a ball stuck behind there many times and I can't even sleep on my right side.

What kind of things are you ladies doing to stay in shape? My back is starting to get a little achey so I am cutting back on the jogging for now. Any 2nd trimester fit mamas?

Avatar f tn After my second I started taking her for walks when she was only 5 days old. I was doing p90x around 4 or 5 weeks so that was way more than my dr wanted to see. For me and I think with any exercise program you should take cues from your body. Take it slow and don't push it. You need to ease back into a routine. I started with walking and worked my way up to heavy exercise. I did have to cut back because it was lowering my milk supply.
Avatar n tn I get a feeling like I am short of breath only while I am talking, and I constantly clear my throat. I also cough during workouts. Sometime a lot, sometime no cough at all. I exercise 6 days a week doing HIIT traing and P90x. I am never short of breath during strenuous exercise. I am a fit, muscular 38 year old male, 6 feet 1inch tall and 190lbs, I have chronic sinusitis and post nasal drip. I had a pretty recent x-ray that showed peribronchiial cuffing.
Avatar n tn Depending on your age your heart rate needs to not exceed a certain range so get a heart rate monitor and stay in range, up to age 30 I think it is 135-155 but ask your doctor. Also lift a bit lighter weights and do the sitting down, do not squat or lunge while doing them. Listen to your body, but as long as yout heart rate doesn't go too high you should be able to keep up your normal routine for the most part. Good luck and congrats!
951898 tn?1296134343 Great job on the weight!!! I still have 40 lbs to lose and Zoƫ turns 1 next month. Oy!!! Stupid PCOS makes it so much harder. I think I'm going to up my game and maybe try P90X or something. I already have 30 Day Shred but haven't done that one in months. To tone your tummy- Sucking in your stomach is actually really good exercise and you can do it all day and anywhere! I like crunches but it might be too early for that.
Avatar m tn Frank, My neighbor whi is a Caption in the LA Fire Department invited me over one day to try out the P90X workout routine. We did the Plyometrics one that day and it was pretty awesome workout. I'm in pretty good shape and was a rower in college. Um that was 20 some years ago though but I wanted to get somewhat close to being in the shape I was.
Avatar f tn I am a very athletic person as I like to swim, run/jog every morning, and do intense workouts such as p90x. So, what I did was shrug it aside because I just knew it was from that. Several weeks into the New Year I began experiencing really bad back pains as I was sleeping. So bad that I couldn't even move a muscle and whenever I did I screamed and moaned. When i would wake up in the mornings everything would be fine. No pain and I actually felt a lot better.
Avatar f tn Try eating less calories and foods high in fiber, don't eat processed foods or food that is high in fat or carbohydrates. In saying this there are such thing as good carbs, they can speed up the metabolism and also provide energy. google good Carbs. stay away from white pasta and bread, stick to multi grain and or rice pasta.
Avatar f tn I have been very active my entire life and consistently worked out five to six days a week. I did p90x in the Spring, but didn't watch my diet carefully and gained two pounds. After this, I stepped up to my workouts to an hour and a half, at least 6 days a week. I also joined My Fitness Pal online and had my calories adjusted to 1280 a day, according to my height, weight, and losing a pound a week. In the last month, I have gained another two pounds. I am beside myself with grief.
Avatar f tn Suzanne Bowen slim and toned barre maternity workout dvd is pretty good. It really gives you a good burn in the buns and thighs. Also has a good arm workout. I bought mine off amazon. I did p90x pre-pregnancy. I will probably continue to use the Suzanne Bowen dvd after birth as well.

Avatar f tn I am 16 and recently started exercising with my volleyball team. We have been doing P90X, weights, pull-ups, abs, and lots of running. However, lately I've been having lower stomach pains. I feel that maybe I'm hungry, but the pain is still there. I've also noticed I'm not eating as much, but maybe that has to deal with the exercise? I'm not quite sure if this is normal, but I wanted to see anyways.
Avatar n tn I work out everyday for a minumum of 1 hour, usually 2. I do the P90X and P90x plus daily. My weight is 190 pounds and my body fat is about 10.5%. Question: About 3 weeks ago I started having some pain when staightening my left leg after my left knee had been bent. It got a little better then the knee started popping or catching with lateral movement. No pain with the popping, but it really feels odd. The pain in the knee from staightening it out has returned.
