Avatar f tn Getting a little antsy and was wondering how soon I could start intense exercising again after giving birth.  I had a vaginal birth so I know the timing there isn't as long as if I'd had a cesarean section but was still curious. I did some research and found some good answers from ob/gyns that said it could be anywhere from days to weeks. I would check out their answers here: http://***.***/****** if you have other concerns because they also mentioned different circumstances than my own.
951898 tn?1296134343 then when my strength was back up I started kick boxing, not just the exercise I did the actually training workouts kickboxers use. I went from 205 to 105lbs!! The exercises for kickboxers are hard and time consuming, so if u make a schedule of exercise times u r more than likely to stick to it. Hope this helps. I am 36 wks preggers again and gained 60 this time, but I plan on doing the same thing I did before starting w the Carmen Electra workout.

Avatar f tn Most water amusement parks will not allow you to ride or slide on anything due to liability. Its just not safe. The lazy river and wave pool are fine though.

Saw these professionals due to exercise related palpitations. In last three months or so have had EEG, (normal), bloodwork (normal), blood pressure (normal). (new doctor, wanted a baseline). Also have had a pretty bad flu in last two months.
Avatar m tn At the end of August I was continuing to do P90x workouts although not in great shape but good enough to keep up with them. I went bowling one night after I was already sore from a vigourous workouts throughout the week. Ever since then I have had moderate to severe pain underneath and behind my right rib cage and into my chest. It feels like a have a ball stuck behind there many times and I can't even sleep on my right side.
Avatar f tn I have dropped 10lbs in 3 weeks just by maintaining a healthy diet, decreasing my calorie intake as well as decreasing the amount of unhealthy foods I was consuming and doing p90x for an hour every day .

Avatar n tn No heavy lifting forsure. Maybe ask your dr since all of our bodies are different. I had a friend who would walk on the treadmill & do squats while pregnant & she had a miscarriage. Congrats & thank you for serving our country!
Avatar f tn Yes! And it hurts like hell, but it works if you stay with it and stay with the diet!! You'll be in the best shape of your life. Just stick to it. Even on the days you would rather do something else. It's under an hour and cheaper than the gym.
Avatar n tn I get a feeling like I am short of breath only while I am talking, and I constantly clear my throat. I also cough during workouts. Sometime a lot, sometime no cough at all. I exercise 6 days a week doing HIIT traing and P90x. I am never short of breath during strenuous exercise. I am a fit, muscular 38 year old male, 6 feet 1inch tall and 190lbs, I have chronic sinusitis and post nasal drip. I had a pretty recent x-ray that showed peribronchiial cuffing.

I couldn't get a ankle in it. Lol. I put on the large and. ... couldn't get them on. Omg! My mind said yes but my thighs said no. I'm a extra large. I left Burlington and started crying in the car.
Avatar f tn I worked out 4-56 times a week and now I can barely get 3 workouts in. I even made a schedule for a specific pregnancy workout I found on pinterest and walking and elliptical. We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..

AB workouts are pointless if you are trying to tone your stomach, which by doing sit ups or crunches that's obviously what you're trying to do. there's no point in toning your stomach when pregnant. not only do you risk further separation of your abdominal muscles when further along, but your belly is going to grow and weaken your muscles regardless of what you do.
1253186 tn?1304783542 lol I have had one person that I know real well tell me that even though it tones up your body and helps you look better, it doesnt help you lose weight so it wouldnt be a good fit for me, but the thing I dont get is that when you tone up and lose the fat, even though you are gaining muscle, I would assume that you are still losing weight. And where the fact of what I weigh doesnt really bother me, I just want to be able to get into my size 11 jeans again!
