lump at hairline

I've had this small lump on the back of my head right on my hairline from the neck to my head. This lump has grown in size over the past couple days and today I squeezed it and some sort of fluid came out. It wasn't like a pimple kind of fluid, there seemed to be quite a bit of fluid. When I don't touch it, it still hurts and is a constant nuisance. I've also found smaller lumps on my head that don't seem to have fluid after I started wearing this new hat I brought.

Is this large lump from the brim of his brow (nose) to the hairline cause for concern? Please inform me. I am a first time mom who has waited a long time for a child and I will admit that I am being a bit concerned just because I don't want anything to be overlooked.

Also the lump is near my hairline towards the back of my neck

I just noticed a small lump ON the middle of my spine, on my neck about an inch below the hairline. Its the size of a marble, and not noticeable without palpating the area. Its painless, and moves very slightly only when I relax the muscles in my neck. Any suggestions on what this may be? Is there even lymph nodes near that spot? 24 yr old smoking male if that helps at all.

I have a pea size lump on thr top of my forehead in the center right at the hairline...it is very tender to touch...seems to be connected to a bone but the skin around it can be moved around loosely.Not sure if I should be worried about this.

Hi , im 20 years old , and i have these really random shooting neck pains that just start in my neck and shoot up into my head they only last for a minute or so but its excruciating , then my arms will kind of have an annoying sore pain, and ive recently developed this small lump on the back of my neck at my hairline. does anybody know what these can be from .. I dont know whether its worth the time to go to the doctors or anything.

Detected a lump on the upper right back of neck parallel to ear in the hairline last Fri. Saw my internist past Tue & had ultrasound performed. Report said, “hypoechoic structure measuring 1.9 x 1 x 1.4 cm within the scalp. It says possible lipoma but lymph node not entirely excluded”. Hi, last week I had an odd experience, my hat became very uncomfortable right in the middle, where my hairline begins. There seemed to be a rather large, subdermal lump. I thought it was odd. Took off my hat and went about my day. The next morning I noticed approximately 5 very small, pin-prick like spots of blood on the lump. It didn't itch particularly but was concerning, nonetheless.

What could cause a moveable lump behindy ear near my hairline? It have been there since October , went to the docs in dec and he said it's nothing to worry about... He said it was a swollen lymph node and it could be from my dry scalp... But it's still there..

Hi I just noticed a small hard lump about three inches from the hairline on my neck and about three inches from my right ear. The lump does not move and is very painful to touch and sometimes causes headaches. I have only had it for about two days and haven't seen a change in size. I am in the middle of applying to a new health clinic so haven't been able to make an appt. The pain hasn't been so bad to go to the emergency room. Most of the pain is in the same area.

She did have craniosynostosis as an infant but this was surgically repaired by an outstanding neurosurgeon at 6 weeks of age. She was completely released with no restrictions at the age of five. She has no symptoms of illness (no fever, rash, headaches, etc.) Her neurosurgeon has since relocated to another state and I don't know who to ask if this could be related to the craniosynostosis or something a GP can look at - if it needs attention.

My girlfriend developed a relatively small lump on the back of her neck at the base of her skull just above her hairline about 3 inches from her right ear. It developed fairly recently. I am always rubbing her back and neck because she had been in a car accident a couple of years ago and experiences chronic back pain, and did not feel it until 2 days ago. It is not visible on the skin, is about the size of dime or nickel, and causes her pain if pressure is applied.

i have also the same problem and im getting very worried.. i've had my lump on the back of ma neck for over a month.. At first i thought it was due to when i sprained my neck.. i was cracking my neck one morning and i pulled a muscle i guess and i felt this lump but thought it was due to the pulled muscle.. the lump doesnt hurt but it is some what of a discomfort.. recently i've been tired but i cant blame it on the lump since i dont get much sleep.

I was diagnosed with a benign cyst in the left side of my neck in the back below the hairline, i had a xray done of it, so it turned out to be benign, so therefore the Hospital said no surgery required, but i always felt like pressure from that side pushing against my neck/nerves is that possible? its right under the skin the lump i have.

For the last two months, I've had a hard lump along the upper hairline, that is about the size of a golf ball. I'm going to my doctor soon for my child welness check up and i'll ask her to look at it. What could it be?
