I've had this small lump on the back of my head right on my hairline from the neck to my head. This lump has grown in size over the past couple days and today I squeezed it and some sort of fluid came out. It wasn't like a pimple kind of fluid, there seemed to be quite a bit of fluid. When I don't touch it, it still hurts and is a constant nuisance. I've also found smaller lumps on my head that don't seem to have fluid after I started wearing this new hat I brought.
I just noticed a small lump ON the middle of my spine, on my neck about an inch below the hairline. Its the size of a marble, and not noticeable without palpating the area. Its painless, and moves very slightly only when I relax the muscles in my neck. Any suggestions on what this may be? Is there even lymph nodes near that spot? 24 yr old smoking male if that helps at all.
It is on the back of my scalp on the left side near my hairline - starting from the bottoms of my hair line to above my ear- all in my scalp.
I tried to look at the area if dryness and it's red with a white crust. Very itchy and burns at times.
The other day I was rubbing my neck and I felt a lump on the left side of my neck. The lump is movable and is not tender to the touch. It feels rubbery.
Now I google this and know I think I have cancer or tb.
About 4-5 months ago i noticed a very small lump on the back of my nexk just under hairline, you just just hardly feel it, over time it grew to a size of a pea and stayed that way. a few weeks ago i called the doctor to get it checked out, i couldnt get in for 2 weeks. The day before my doctors appointment i woke up with a sore throat and around my lump had swollen all up, had a headache that went into my ear. and the lump was paiful all around it.
I was diagnosed with a benign cyst in the left side of my neck in the back below the hairline, i had a xray done of it, so it turned out to be benign, so therefore the Hospital said no surgery required, but i always felt like pressure from that side pushing against my neck/nerves is that possible? its right under the skin the lump i have.
Detected a lump on the upper right back of neck parallel to ear in the hairline last Fri. Saw my internist past Tue & had ultrasound performed. Report said, “hypoechoic structure measuring 1.9 x 1 x 1.4 cm within the scalp. It says possible lipoma but lymph node not entirely excluded”. I have 3 lipomas on right side of body but since I had Stage 1 melanoma on left side of shoulder a yr ago we are getting me into see the oncologist who removed my melanoma for further eval.
I am worried about a lump which I have noticed on the back of my neck. It is right in the centre of the back neck and ends about 1/2cm before my hairline. It is more noticable when I lean my head forward or lay down. I cannot notice it if my neck is in a normal, standing position.The lump is slightly closer to my head than my back. It is solid, it almost feels like bone. It does hurt slightly when I poke at it.
Hi , im 20 years old , and i have these really random shooting neck pains that just start in my neck and shoot up into my head they only last for a minute or so but its excruciating , then my arms will kind of have an annoying sore pain, and ive recently developed this small lump on the back of my neck at my hairline. does anybody know what these can be from .. I dont know whether its worth the time to go to the doctors or anything.
Hello , while I was doing trampoline jumping on it the trampoline jumped with me then I got down from infront of it I had quite pain the second day it became blue and got doubled I wen tto the hospital did xray they said there is nothing the dr gave me pills for inflammatory , and now its been 17 days the blue color went from my leg but my leg is still bigger and it feels like having a lump now ?
Just a week ago, I felt another small lump (not sure whether is it a lymph node?) near my groin area, it is not really in the groin area that is described in the internet regarding swollen lymph nodes, but it is just attached to the skin just next to the scrotum so far i know, it is not on the legs. It has shrink down after several days till now.

I'm 15 years old, female,and found a lump on my neck not long ago. It's small and sort of firm, but not hard. It is located on the upper right side of the back of my neck, close to my hairline. There is noticable but not unbearable soreness if pressure is applied to it. It has been there for a while, but not exceeding two months. It seems to have gotten smaller since I found it. I haven't been experiencing any symptoms that worry me.
Hi I just noticed a small hard lump about three inches from the hairline on my neck and about three inches from my right ear. The lump does not move and is very painful to touch and sometimes causes headaches. I have only had it for about two days and haven't seen a change in size. I am in the middle of applying to a new health clinic so haven't been able to make an appt. The pain hasn't been so bad to go to the emergency room. Most of the pain is in the same area.
Hi, last week I had an odd experience, my hat became very uncomfortable right in the middle, where my hairline begins. There seemed to be a rather large, subdermal lump. I thought it was odd. Took off my hat and went about my day. The next morning I noticed approximately 5 very small, pin-prick like spots of blood on the lump. It didn't itch particularly but was concerning, nonetheless.
My coworker just had a bacterial infection in a lymph node, started out as pea sized lump on back of neck and grew over next few days until it was as big as a chicken egg. She waited too long to go to a doc, so it had to be lanced. Went away with antibiotics.
That's just an idea of what it COULD be, but since you posted 2 weeks ago the problem should already been resolved i hope.
For the last two months, I've had a hard lump along the upper hairline, that is about the size of a golf ball. Originally I thought nothing of it, thought it was just some fatty tissue or something as a result of scarring from c-section/tummy tuck, but those were both 8+ years ago.
Now it's becoming a little bothersome when pressing on it and possibly with intercourse.
Cysts are often firm and can appear anywhere in the body especially in places with hair. I had one in my armpit witch was also firm and it hurt because it was presing my gland. It passed after a week or so. The chances of you having something serious are very small but if it becomes bigger or starts to hurt you must go to a doctor or a free clinic. Don't try to squeeze anything out or to poke it with a needle.

It was very stiff and could barely move my neck. I then noticed a hard acorn sized lump in the right side of my neck that is located just behind the corner of my jaw and . My neck hurt for that day and the next couple of days. The pain went away then i noticed pain in the right side of my back and even in my right pectorial. i also notised a strange pulsing feeling that shot down the front of my neck to the chest. After this swelling cotinued in the back of my back and got worse.
Also-
You can only feel the lump in my neck if you press down or if I tilt my neck to the side.
