Well I should disclose that I live outside my home country so there is a big language barrier between myself and the doctors. The nodule/lump/sac is above my elbow yes. I suppose it could be bursitis. My issue is that this doctor didn't even touch the area or even examine it. Of course I want to avoid surgery, but I want this to go away and soon. I have a kid on the way and need use of both arms. I guess my main question is what should the doctor do in order to diagnose it?
Around the beginning of Summer, I noticed some type of lump/swelling on my inner elbow, right above the crease on the side closest to my body with palm facing up. My doctor said that it must be a hematoma and that I might have bumped it without noticing. After a several months, the swelling decreased and nearly disappeared, but it has recently come back. There is no discoloration and no lump can be felt beneath the skin when my arm is bent.
The bruise originated back of my arm above the elbow at the bite site, has spread down past my elbow and has almost wrapped completely around my arm, i feel small spasms every now and then in my fingers and if i bend my arm i get pinching pains in the elbow and shoulder, could this be something serious?
about six months ago, I was sitting at my desk in my home office and somehow, I discovered a little rubbery bump on the inside of my arm near the elbow. Upon further self-examination, I found I had the same rubbery bump on the inside of my other elbow. They're both somewhat rubbery and movable. I'd say both are each size of an ear bud off of a pair of in-ear headphones.
I went to a local walk-in clinic and the doctor there felt them and said they were lipomas.
in my post I inadvertantly wrote 'top' of the elbow...let me revise that to depict the 'tip' of the elbow...basically if you put your elbow on the table, the part that makes contact is where the lump is...
hi i have a painful red lump in my elbow it hurts so much when i press on it. never had anything like this before, its gotten bigger it got swollen and its red. sizes of a dime and it hurt to stretch my arm can you tell me what it is? everyone keeps telling me its a pimple but its not cuz i dont see any pus its just really swollen and painfull its on top of my elbow skin, but not touching my bone of the elbow im worried should i go to the doctor?
I also suffer with Degenerative Disc Disease and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Since October I have had a lump on my elbow, well not directly on the elbow but on the side and my entire left arm has pain and some swelling including shoulder and left side of my chest hurts when I breathe. I have had chest xrays done of my chest, elbow and shoulder and they are all normal.
The hematologist monitored regularly through blood tests and physical exam. Over a few months, elbow lump went away, but a new lump appeared on the salivary gland. The swelling was quite noticeable. Biopsy of node in this area and a bone marrow test confirmed diagnosis on slow growing Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. I gather that hematologists will often watch and wait using fewer tests until clear sign cancer is present or progressing before beginning active surveillance to confirm.

For almost a year I have had this loss of sensation in my 4th & 5th fingers of my left hand, there is a numbness in the palm of my hand in this area. I have been to my Doctor who has suggested carpal tunnel syndrome, trapped nerve in shoulder etc, etc. One suggested physiotherapy/massage and 3 months later I am waiting for appointment, obviously I am not a priority as I have NO pain. but this is interfering with everyday life i.e.

I also have a lump on the lower right forearm. About a year and a half ago, I had an open worker's comp case. Doctors did everything they could to rule out carpal tunnel syndrome. Not one to push, I let the case close. Occasionally, my right hand goes very numb and cold, and the lump will ache. I saw my regular doctor after the wc case closed and he wasn't very helpful either. My situation is very frustrating. I have given up hope of someone telling me what's really wrong.
Hello all. I've had a lump in my elbow crease for a very long time now (years). Sometimes there is no pain at all but sometimes the pain is quite sharp. I'm guessing that's because it might be pushing down on some nerves in my arm. Every doctor that I've gone to tells me it's not a big deal and I shouldn't worry about it. Lately it's been bothering me more often than not. Sometimes when I wake up and extend my arm it is quite painful.
I noticed I had a lump on my elbow all of a sudden the size of an small egg hanging from the flap of my skin. I could move it really easily and it didn't hurt. Without really thinking about it I massage *** in assumed whatever was in it with just go away. It partially went away and flattened out and I continued working for the day that night I looked at it it was bruised and I showed it to someone and it was still a little bit of it there.
I am concerned about a lump on my left arm about two inches from my elbow. It seems to be on a nerve because it is causing my arm to shake. the lump hurts. The arm only seems to shake from where the lump is down to the wrist. I think another smaller lump is starting about an inch from the other along the same nerve. Any educated opions would be extremely apreciated. I am currently seeking a doctor. I have an apointment first week of next month.
