Avatar f tn It contracts the uterus back down and pumping/breast feeding burns calories easily and quickly, I was back to my normal size in about 2 months tho, I only pumped for those 2 weeks and i didn't do any type of exercise routine or diet.
Avatar f tn Normally I can lose weight easily but I have a really hard time maintaining my weight under stress so I always fluctuated between 130lbs-150lbs. Any tips or suggestions for losing weight quickly? I would like to lose 10lbs by Christmas because I will be on vacation. Right now my plan is to eat smaller meals & do yoga 5x a week & 30 mins of cardio 5x a week.
Avatar f tn Hi I am 17 years old and stopped getting my period 2 years ago due to diet of 1200 calories and losing about 5kg (yES not much but I’m not sure why I don’t lose weight easily) however since a month I have upped my intake to about 2000 calories but not gradually and gained VERY quickly 6kgs!!!!! And still NO period. But I am getting cramps? And acne? And my boobs have grown? I am also taking Vitex (Agnes Castus) but not sure if it helps or I should stop?
Avatar n tn re not the most important tool for choosing a diet -- some high calorie foods are very good for losing weight, some low calorie foods are bad for losing weight. The real issue is how you metabolize and digest your food, and that will differ by the person.
Avatar f tn Happened to my mom in her third pregnancy, my sister was healthy and healthy weight, but did deliver early and quickly. They managed to get to the hospital but my sister was born in the hallway at the hospital because they didn't have time to get her to l&d lol. Good luck!!
Avatar f tn Losing 40 pounds in 2 months is pretty much not going to happen, even if you starve. You need to stop and think about what you're doing. Losing weight by any means, other than healthy lifestyle changes will only temporary and will actually put more stress on your heart than it's under now. 7968140 tn?1406932734 I tend to be losing weight and feeling some pains in my lower and right abdomen, I really do not want to come out as a complaining wife to husband. Anyone experiencing this as well?
Avatar f tn There are liver cleanses, colon cleanses, kidney cleanses -- they can be very good for health, but not very useful for losing weight in a healthy fashion because the weight will just come back as soon as you return to your normal way of eating. The only way to lose weight long-term is to change your metabolism, which doesn't involve calories as much as it involves what you eat and how quickly it turns into sugar and how easily it moves through your digestive system.
Avatar f tn With my first I put on 37lbs and without hardly trying I went back down to my prepregnancy weight. So far this pregnancy I've put on a lot less so I'm hoping I can lose it again easily but quicker. I know it does get harder as you get older tho!
Avatar n tn My 14 month old is losing weight and has been since birth. She weighed 8.1 at birth and now at 14 months is only 16lbs. I breastfeed for 9 months and she hardly got sick, but refused to eat in the morning. Now she continues to refuse food in the morning. If she does eat she throws up every morning(even when she doesn't eat)!! Lots of times the bile is full of mucous, but many times it is not.
Avatar n tn I know the feeling. There is always a tomorrow or next week when it comes to proactively losing weight. And if I feel overweight then yes I want the weight gone yesterday. Some advice. Don't drop the weight quickly, this is rarely a long-term solution. If I took time and had the mental discipline I could have lost weight many times over. Do it once, do it right. Issues with weight and body image are taxing (emotionally, physically and financially) and demoralizing.
198506 tn?1251156915 t start noticing a diffeent in my weight until after 10lbs. keep on losing and you will notice your weight loss soon.

11100381 tn?1436779908 I am at week 10, and instead of the morning sickness getting better, it's getting worse. I went from massive fruit cravings, to eating pancakes now and then, to eating portions about half a sandwhich, and now, I can barely eat a piece of toast. I was drinking ensure to make up for what I havn't been eating, but now I can't stomach even that. I feel so hungry and everytime I try to eat, my stomach screams in pain at me and I usually end up throwing it up.
Avatar n tn Hi I am a 32yr B/F who for the last 17yrs has suffered with migraines and insomnia. I have never been obese but have always been heavier than I'm suppose to be at five feet tall, i had a baby in 04 and i gained almost 40lbs, and the weight didn't come off afterwards, I have tried evertything, diets, pills, everything otc, even went to weight loss clinics, nothing worked, I recently started going to the gym over the summer, everyday for and hour, but nothing, no weight no loss.
Avatar n tn I been diagnoss *** a diabetic and I been loosing a lot of weight is it normal?
Avatar n tn As the first comment correctly stated, losing weight fast doesn't last and leaves you weaker, which you don't want to be if you're getting ready for basic training. Why not wait to join the military until you're ready?
6520484 tn?1399082398 I had my son on the 7th and have lost about half of the weight I put on. 13lbs of baby/amniotic fluid/placenta and 12lbs of water. But I still have 20lbs of fat that I put on during the pregnancy. Just wondering if anyone had success in losing the baby weight? I could use some pointers. I already eat healthy and all I drink is water and milk, no juice or pop or anything. I'm too tired to exercise (with Two week old baby and all). Anyone do anything to lose the weight that really worked?
Avatar n tn I have lost nearly 20 kilos ( 44 lbs) since my surgery. But I know that only part of that was to do with being on medication after my TT last Dec and the rest to bloody hard work on my part! Saw a Naturopath as I wasn't losing any weight by May this year...and felt lousy. I have lost most of the weight to changing my diet and doing excersise. I can see how easily I can gain weight even though I am now officially hyperthyroid! So I do my utmost to keeping the weight down.
2188958 tn?1346444891 I think that was the key to me losing weight, bc as soon as I stopped nursing gained the weight back. My second it took about 6 months to get to my pre-pregnancy weight, and again I stayed skinny until I stopped breastfeeding, then I gained about 15 lbs. With this pregnancy I am much older, and I have gained so much weight already that I doubt I will lose it all very quickly, if at all :/ I plan to work out if I can this time.
Avatar f tn Hey everyone--I'm only on Day 2 but this morning I was actually hopeful that this wouldn't be so bad. I'm at work and trying to stay hopeful but I'm in pain and can't concentrate. Any suggestions? I know I should probably just stay busy and try to keep my mind off pills. It's definitely not easy...
Avatar n tn Losing weight quickly is not a solution it will only cause you too gain more when you start eating normally again. You should aim to lose 2 pounds a week and can do that by simply eating a healthy balanced diet. Drink 8 glasses of water a day and try to have vegetables with everything you eat!
