jaw pain cold

Does anyone experience jaw pain? I am beginning to hurt all over. The pain starte in my arms and legs but now I ache all over. The pain comes and goes. It seems to get worse when I get cold. My NS said there was nothing else he could do surgically. He referred me back to the pain management doctor.

Have the symptoms change since you first noticed them? Are there more cold sore spots now? Is the pain on the outside of the face or inside the mouth?

Good Morning! Just wondering if any of you have ever experienced jaw pain with CM? It started near my ear and has progressed over the last few days. Now the pain is in upper and lower jaw to the mid line. VERY uncomfortable, and I'm not sure what is causing it.

I have recently been going through all the same sort of symptoms as you have listed, including the jaw pain. I think it is hormone related as I have heard of other people going through it too. I am currently getting tested and may be referred to an endocrinologist shortly to find out if my symptoms are due to early menopause. So if I find out anymore about it, I will let you know.

I had four cavities filled two weeks ago two molars on top and two molars on the bottom. Two days after they were filled I had several pain in my right jaw and gum. I went back and had the bite fixed. But by the weekend, I was in pain again. The dentist called in Tylenol with Codine. By Tuesday I went back to the dentist and they took an xray. They claimed my teeth look fine but since I was in pain in the one back molar they removed that filling and redrilled and filled it.

On Monday felt a little pain and discomfort which gradually increased through Tuesday and still experience pain and discomfort on wednesday. When mouth is closed there is no pain. When moving jaw from side to side, no pain. I experience tthe pain and discomfort when opening my mouth. II also noticed my face get a little puffy on that side on Tuesday. Do think my jaw is broken, dislocated, or just bruised?

I have noticed the pain go to as far as my jaw. I though it maybe something to do with my jaw because my jaw is set far back anyway (i have problems with my teeth) but I am getting no pain in my jaw. I have no vision problems. I was tested 2 months ago because doctor noticed I had large optic disks but the eye doctor said I was fine and it was physiologic disk cupping, meaning i was born with it and its not harmful.

Sometimes I can even chew on that side without it hurting. Cold makes it really bad. Even just the cold air from the air conditioner in the car can trigger it. When it hurts the whole left side of my face from the jaw to above my eye hurts. It's an awful pain. But then it passes and doesn't seem to come back. I've been taking 3 otc ibuprofen once a day (with onset of pain..usually in the evening). That helps. I don't know if I should see a dentist or my PCP.

But two weeks ago I started experiencing severe pain in my left jaw, that is only abated by pain killers. Without any sort of pain killers, my whole left jaw feels like it's on fire. Last Monday I went to the dentist. They didn't take any new xrays, and only referred to the ones from October, and told me they didn't know what my problem was. The thought my filling might be a little high, so filed it down, then told me that I may be grinding my teeth.

But I also have pain in my jaw at random times that is true TMJ pain. I also have a sinus infection, which makes my jaw hurt too! 3. The tooth doesn't hurt spontaneously, but it's so close to my jaw, I'm paranoid that I'm mistaking a dying nerve for TMJ. Would a dying nerve react positively to heat or ice on the outside of the face? I use a heat pack or ice pack on my jaw and that takes the pain away.

For a couple of weeks I have had a horrible aching pain in what feels like my lower jaw bone. The pain is so severe that I will wake up in the middle of the night and can do nothing to ease the pain. My teeth have also been very sensitive, even to drink a cold drink or hot tea. I have recently had a couple of cavities filled but this did not start untill a couple of weeks after so Im not sure if they are connected or not.

I still have cold knees while bending them or sitting down and when i feel my knees with my palms they are very cold compared to the rest of the body.

If I went out into cold air, the pain would move right across the lower jaw and it felt as though all my teeth had infections.

That helped for a short time. There are days that I still wake up with pain radiating from my right jaw all the way up the side of my head. It can last for days. I take naprosen for pain. That usually helps a little but I would like to find a more permanent treatment. I was punched in the face in the jaw area several years ago, this has contributed to the pain.

good day i am 27 years old and have developed sinus over the years, with the change of seasons i sometimes experience discomfort in my face like the nose area and eye area when the wind blows my eyes get teary and i seem to cough, and about a few months ago i went to a doctor and he explained that there is swelling in my jaw appearently i have some sort of an overbite which is causing some skewness in my mouth, he gave my muscle relaxers to ease the pain, but the sinus pain aswell as the jaw

My main concern is jaw pain. After short periods of running I am experiencing pain, specifically around my joints. After doing some light background research I saw this this could be linked to heart disease. Before anyone responds a few points should be made. -I was tested extensively for heart issues when I was 4 due to a benign heart murmur. - I have scoliosis which causes one of my legs to be approx .25 inches shorter than the other. I require the use of a lift in one shoe.

Feels like a nerve thing as main area of pain is lower front of jaw and at hinge of jaw when temp is in upper right jaw. Any suggestions or thoughts??

I was in a collision with another person in april 2010 i had a concussion and bruised jaw and have been going to the chiropractor ever since. my concern is that i still have jaw pain that extends from my temple through my ears and into my jaw. i get headaches occasionally and sometimes have pain when i open my mouth too far...what to do?

I do have TMJ and I sometimes get pain on the sides of my jaw as well as clicking but the pain in the lower front teeth is different. Any ideas???

You may have TMJ or just some jaw sensitivity from the dental work you have had done and from having your mouth opened so wide for a long period of time while the dentist worked on your teeth. I had this same problem and had jaw joint pain for 10 months after having 1 tooth crowned! I am searching for answers myself now, but I won't be having in more injections unless I'm dead!

The pain is still mainly in my jaw but I have noticed that hot/cold causes the pain in my jaw to intensify so I am not sure if the pain in my jaw is just pain radiating from my tooth. Any thoughts on if it is just a pulpitis situation and may calm down without further work being done? Thank you.

I smoked a couple of cigarettes and suddenly got a tingling feeling in arms which quickly turned to pain radiating to my neck and jaw with a tight feeling in chest. I experienced anxiousness and unable to be still and a heavy amount anxiety. Also my jaw and feet were clenching. I know many people with this and it can cause headaches, neck pain, ear pain, all kinds of pain in your head/face area. First I would talk with your regular doctor then maybe a referral, if your doctor agrees, to someone who specializes in TMJ disorders. I am able to differentiate two different types of pain. I have a constant pain on both sides of my jaw that has episodes where it gets worse and will go into the ears. Other times it’s just that constant jaw pain. The other pain I can tell is separate and is coming from a specific tooth. The pain in the tooth responds to certain stimuli as mentioned above. My appointment with the neurologist is coming up on April 27, 2018.
