Heart problems or gas

Common Questions and Answers about Heart problems or gas

Avatar f tn I have a lot of indigestion or reflux going on. The specialist says he thinks I am having heart problems not stomach problems. He called it angina not reflux. He is going to put the camera down my throat to rule out reflux before he refers me to a heart specialist. This has been going on for 3 years or so. I just want it to stop.
Avatar f tn I've been concerned for a month that I've had or am going to have a heart attack. I've had a couple chest pains and my stomach has been upset all week. Feels like I have a tuning-fork in my gut. Went to doc today; BP 150/90. She wants to prescribe BP medicine. I don't take anything but vitamins and 1 aspirin daily. Had ekg and stress test and did fine. Felt fine when I left and by the time I got back to work my insides are churning again.
1222076 tn?1423027749 Most people think that my heart and stomach symptoms could be linked but my doctor today said that my acid shouldnt be causing problems with my heart. She thinks my heart is fine but I still need to check in with the Cardio specalist because they did a chest ultrasound a few months ago and I never heard back. It just don't make much sense to me. I'm still young I don't get why I cant just feel normal.
Avatar m tn I am a 37 year old (non-smoker, teetotaller), had a TIA two years ago. since no cause was found, am being treated for highBP - however I suffer out of chronic acidity, stomach gas & poor bowel movement..... i am wondering whether i AM really a cardiac patient OR my problems are merely on account of acute digestive problems ?
Avatar n tn Like I said it only happens once in awhile, not all the time...Is it Heart Palpitations or can it be like gas or something? When the pain occurs it does hurt when I try to breath, so maybe it is...Also, if it is Heart Plaipations does this mean I have heart problems or does it mean I will have a heart attack in the future? All information will be helpful..Thanks..

Avatar f tn I got a stent put in. Probably a problem from the high blood calcium, treatment, and blood pressure all mixed together. Getting ablation, too.
Avatar m tn recently I have been having these funny little episodes with my heart I get breathless then my heart does these half beats where it feels like its trying to stop then goes back to normal heart rate the doctor did say to me that it was eptopic beat but didnt explain anything to me. which as it does stresses you out even more. I feel like I am going to faint when these episodes happen. I dont drink do drugs I eat really healthy and I do smoke cigarettes which am trying to give up.
Avatar f tn I had this problem since my dad passed away, its getting worst, the older i get.
Avatar m tn If your burps or gas smell like roten eggs (sulphur), try to avoid sulphur-containing foods, which are basically all animal foods except fish. Some vegetables and especially many sauces and salad dressings contain sulphur. Check for detailed list here: http://www.healthhype.com/sulphur-or-rotten-eggs-burps-belching-foul-smelling-gas.

Avatar n tn Also, if it is Heart Plaipations does this mean I have heart problems or does it mean I will have a heart attack in the future? All information will be helpful..Thanks..
Avatar n tn I am a 38-year-old female who is in apparent good health and have exercised regularly for at least ten years now. However, within the past week I've had the problem of my heart racing just before I fall asleep and when I awake. I've clocked it at 30 beats within 15 seconds. I have never had heart problems before. I'm wondering if I'm having seizures or cardiac arrest or what?
Avatar m tn One of my friends has currently been having some puzzling heart problems. She would be sitting in class, and all of a sudden her hear would race. She would immediately report to the infirmary, where the nurse would take her heart beat into record. I think the highest it ever was was pushing 120, almost into 130. It wasn't like she was doing anything physically strenuous. The only other symptom was a slight tingly sensation in her face, no specific part just all over.
Avatar n tn Sounds like it gas pains. Medications can for sure cause constipation, which in turn causes gas build, and is probably whats happening. I would mention these side effects to your doctor and see if they can either switch your medications, or give you something to help.
Avatar m tn Are your having diahrrea? The bloating is probably gas, which is causing the pressure in your chest, or maybe heartburn or both. Activated charcoal capsules from the health food store can help with the pressure/bloated feeling from the gas, as well as with loose stools. Take them 2 hrs before or after meds or vitamins. You feel better after you poop because all that pressure is finally being released.
448723 tn?1301454958 Yesterday I spent half the day at the doctors. On Thursday night I experienced an erratic heartbeat (for the 2nd time) and it went for around 8 hours. My heart was jumping all over the place and alternated between feeling like someone was kicking it and like someone was standing on it. At times it was difficult to breathe, and I did quite a bit of involuntary wheezing. Of course I should have gone to the hospital at the time, but I didn't want anything to be wrong.
Avatar f tn It is really difficult to comment whether the symptoms are due to vagus nerve or not. The gas, heart burn can be due to acidity or even due to GERD. It can also be due to IBS or due to Crohn’s or Celiac disease. Keep a stress diary and see if a particular food causes more gas and heart burn. GERD symptoms are often best relieved by a combination of drugs. Talk to your doctor about it. Avoid heavy meals.
Avatar m tn was doing ok and they were going to do a heart cath. while i was waiting had a heart attack had 2 stents put in.so i have 6 stents. doctor told my wife to watch close. that my whole attitude will change.. that i will get upset real easy. with alot of noise when the grandkids and great grandkids come over after bit i go in the bed room before i go nuts and scare them.i have banged my head against the wall instead of punching some.
Avatar f tn I have a lot of loud burping with what I would say or call like heart skips or flutters. I also have a lot of gas in my bowels. I have an occassional chest pain with relief after much burping. I have an appointment with the gastro next week. I had an ekg with my family doctor and it was normal. I have been diagnosed with IBS in the past. I rarely get heartburn, but when I do it is not really that bad. I am miserable with all these systems. Any ideas?
Avatar n tn Unfortunately, pain related to the heart is not easily differentiated from chest pain or discomfort from respiratory, esophogeal, or the chest's skeletal configuration. Even if the pain does not return tha would not indicate there is no heart problem. The cause could be the heart muscle from viral infection, medication, etc. or it could be a spasm of the coronary artery that temporarily shut off circulation of oxygenated blood, etc. Worst case scenario. You should get an evaluation.
