Easiest is eat small often. Especially if you start getting morning sickness. Fresh fruits and veggies, lots of greens..spinach, kale, lean meats..chicken, turkey, white fish, lean beef. Check out different pregnancy sites and you'll find lots of yummy recipes that are really good and easy to make.

But, in general, lean protein of any sort is good for you and fills you up. A good bang for your calorie buck. Fruits as your sweet treat verses real sweets, lots of fresh vegis. A handful of nuts, guacamole, a little peanut butter, are good things that have the right fat that your body needs while being very satisfying.

It makes sense to me that you would still be experiencing some residual effects/experiences. The 1st thing I'd recommend is to stop reading Dr. Google. Google is great for recipes and history and looking up song lyrics.

Making from scratch instead of out of a can usually is much healthier too :) I believe the american heart association's website has recipes and suggestions in too as well as they have several cookbooks out too.
